I think I might have gotten a job, finally, have been inactive since mid-February. I might have to move to a country I never thought I would be moving to, but hey whatever. Won't be until mid-Sept though so I have all next month to do nothing.

Been drinking since late afternoon to celebrate.
 
Nice guys, thanks. Well I have to work from home for a month or so, then go in country to present the work and conduct interviews.

I'm not gonna say what country it is, but it's in the near east, warm, with good food, hot women and an excellent rave scene ;)

I watched Dead Man's Shoes twice and still couldn't make head nor tail of it. The dialogue consisted entirely of strange and incomprehensible noises, scenes kept repeating themselves, everything totally disjointed. It is possible this was a stylistic decision on the part of the director. It is perhaps more likely that it was the massive MXE binge I was on around that time wot dun it.
 
Pfft I don't think it's a good film at all. Yous two can fuck off. It's got some great dialogue and some ok performances but it's too self conscious and knowing on every level. It's trying to be a cult film, it's like that fucking Brad Pitt as a boxer one. Nuns On The Run ranks higher than that rainfest.

Shall do! Always on the look out for movie recommendations, especially Brit ones or really shit horror films :D

Have got the DVD here actually. Someone gave it to me cos they didn't like it. Will watch it properly one of these days but for some reason I'm always wasted when it takes my fancy. Is really good on MXE actually - very headfucky indeed =D
