Yeah it gets off to a kind of slow meandering start. By the time they're on the final series, the dramatic action scened pile up as quick as any hollywood blockbuster

I'm two episodes off the grand finale of the 5th season. Started watching the 1st season about a week ago. I've had dreams about the wire every night for seven nights running. I'm slowly going fucking mental.

The second season, based around the seaport system, is probably my favourite. There's something about those Greeks...

If I could chose The Wire or Breaking Bad, the former would win quite comfortably

There are so many quality characters yet they introduce them and build them all brilliantly so you're never left with apathy towards any of them really.

The series progress well too, focusing on different aspects of baltimore but linking them in to each other to keep it as one solid block.

Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit might start it again .

Aye Ben, the Wire is great!

I've just had a sort of one-man shave party, 120mg MXE on top of some GBL, turned on the Rezillos, face full of foam and got to work with my precision engineered razor. I think I might have made excessive noise for Monday midnight but it felt good! Actually I feel like a gorilla, which might be quite appropriate as I did a few chinups after and I'm so slow on this new keyboard I might as well be a monkey! But I'm actually getting faster so that's a good sign! It's fucking murder retraining muscle memory! I've pressed backspace dozens of times typing this post. Anyway I was thinking that I can't be the only one that feels like a gorilla and I was hoping to make contact with other gorillas via the magic of the internet!

Yeah the characters are just starting to develop at a lovely pace and the story opens up continually. I'll be honest I haven't stopped thinking about it since I stopped watching it on about episode 4 or 5 season 1. At first I was ok this isn't so hot but by episode 3 I was hooked and resumed the download of the rest of seasons 2 - 5.

Ha ha ha Knock it's funny because TLM said he enjoyed shaving and so do I now. The great thing is when you cut yourself you don't feel it because the razor is so sharp. Thanks TLM. :D

the wire. It really hits you in the face with unpredictable plot twists/escalations like every other episode yet somehow you never see it coming.
Season 4 is best. No doubt.

My MXE tolerance has dropped to the point where it's actually worth taking it, so yeeha or woot or something :D Still 120mg feels like 15mg did two years ago so it's not quite as cost effective but that'll learn me.

^How long does it take for tolerance to dissociatives to drop? I remember when I would take 2 or 3 week breaks from opiates I could already go back to dosing about 3/4 of what I used to :D
