Gibberings CXXXII: Like an overweight person consuming a poor-tasting biscuit

I drive tons and tons, often long distance. Speed and 4 FA have a very positive affect on me and my driving, I believe, mainly on the way home.

Stims don't change my behaviour very much tho really .. they mainly just help me to concentrate more, and inspire that lovely stream of consciousness which helps me think.

If you're getting paranoid on stims, I'd say you're probably doing them wrong, or doing them too much. I never get paranoid, and I never get jittery either. After years of on/off usage I know how to make the best of them, and take them accordingly.

Was this directed at me? Doing them wrong, how so?

I don't think I do it too much, hardly ever because of the paranoia really. I only really take prescribed dexamphetamine (prescribed to my other half for narcolepsy). Maybe I should try another stim instead?

just remember to remove the dead badgers embedded in your bumper the next day and you're fine.

In the same vein, haha, different stims/different folks/different effects.

I wasn't going to get in an argument with you about amphetamines but, ok, for me I think most of them improve my driving, better concentration. But it depends on the stim. For me, MDPV is rubbish to drive on. But I remember talking to someone on here who thought about MDPV and driving the way I do other stims and driving.

MDPV is terrible to drive on if you are strung out, imaginary police cars following you etc

I just found it space distorting so how close am I to that hedge was too much of a problem.

Obviously I test all these drugs and driving out on my private estate first. Near the hedge.

Well, directed at anyone doing stims and feeling the ill effects (to the level it would affect their driving negatively)

But in your case based on what you just wrote, you could try to channel the nervous energy it gives you, into concentrating on something that requires effort and attention ... be that a hobby/entertainment thing, or work related or whatever. But if you're taking it for a buzz alone (I don't) and it's not pleasurable then I'd look for a different substance. With women it's often taken as a weight maintenance measure (it is with me partly), so if you're taking it for that reason and you don't like how it makes you feel, then maybe you're taking a bit more than you need?

You mentioned somewhere earlier about etiz maybe helping to calm the paranoia, which it could well do, but then you're just adding another pill to take. I know a lot of people here do that, but it's on my list of verbotens. I use stims but I wont use downers of any kind, not even to help me sleep afterwards (I've occasionally used zopiclone in the past, but infrequently). I decided that the only way to take them would be to take them in such a way that I could build it into my day, and when it starts fucking with that and things start to go wrong, too much lack of sleep etc, then I cut back and adapt how much I take.

Otherwise you just end up on a rollercoaster of taking one drug to deal with the other and that can lead to some shite places really.

I think some people are just wired that way. I never get paranoid on stims either, but I've definitely done them "wrong" plenty of times. As in I've abused them, hard, but I still don't get paranoid. I've got up close and personal with the shadow people, but never thought they were out to get me.

tbh it would be rare to leave the house to drive on MDPV due to being trapped at home zoned in on what I was doing*

*studying

If you have genuine rational reason to be paranoid in the first place, on stims the hypervigilance and shadow people can add up to quite threatening feelings that get worse and worse if you are stimmed up most days, in my experience anyway.

Making sure I sleep every night if I'm doing stims during the day helps me avoid most of the worst feelings, its when it gets to 6am and I'm still wired as fuck things start to get unpleasant, every fucking time.

I guess -- I always think you have to be an egomaniac to suffer from proper stim paranoia. You must be very important if the police/CIA/them are going to hack your webcam and spy on you, or generally monitor you and discuss you. Me, I'm just a girl with a barely bustable stash.

i hardly ever get paranoid on stims, mainly its the days after i get paranoid and suffer with other shite effects. i love them though, feel so alive and in the moment. never needed downers to help me sleep after stims, although for awhile i used to take em any way, dont bother now though
