11 degrees at the moment but I suspect it may get hotter :sus:

Lovely lovely sun. Atones for the 6 months of winter.

no it doesn't, I haven't forgotten winter and I will be biding my time until it's PAYBACK TIME.

Actually managed to make some money this week.

Plus my income has risen considerably and the weather's getting warmer.
Been managing to shoot cocaine almost every day (like a boss) and I don't even have to get up in the morning for work.

Life is getting there at last.
Bring on the frisbee action!

Springs so late we're going to go virtually straight into summer. Shame as springs my favourite month. Its amazing out there right now, the new life has really took off down here, hedges are green, trees are getting there. The sheer energy being expended is infectious. The bluebells have just bloomed.

I copy that, altho with autoflowering haze on the roof instead of tomato plants

We've had the last frost in Mancland.. is still a bit nippy for putting me tomatoes out yet though.

Are autos ok these days? I know they had an awful rep in the past but have heard better things recently.

Well I don't know, it's my 1st time too. So far so good, they're definitely fit for purpose if you're limited on height or time. I was limited by temps, it was so cold here I needed something that could have lights on for most of the time. The speed is phenomenal, I'm on day 63 from seed.

The yield looks respectable, I'm just waiting for some amber trichs but I just read autos don't tend to turn so not sure what to do.

There has been a lot of work done on auto's over the last few years, it's come a long way since all that ruderalis-y Lowryder shite. Very decent quality is possible with the more modern genetics, and yea the speed is indeed phenomenal, ten weeks total life cycle, nawmean?

Dial in yer nutrients, don't skimp

See my post in the weed thread for my (albeit limited) experience smoking an auto strain -

"My mate grows Afghan Kush Ryder and its fucking fantastic stuff. It's an auto strain so no messing about with lighting schedules and it's grown from seed to harvest in a couple of months. It looks shit and it takes a good two bowls to really take effect but fucking hell, it's the nicest most comfortable feeling weed I've ever smoked."

icmag.com (RIP overgrow.com) is a good place to read more. Obviously many people on those forums have growing as their main occupation in life. Great documentation.

I should clarify that when I say "it looks like shit", I am referring to my mate's shit harvesting/trimming technique. He only grows for himself so doesn't bother manicuring to "commercial" standards.

Thanks for the link lurching.

I read some oldish threads about the strain I'm doing saying it was an anxious panicky high, and then saw other threads about people saying they weren't getting amber trichs and just chopping. I think its just a case of people harvesting too early because they go by the times the naughty seed sellers tell them. I'm going to be patient and give it a week - 10 days over its due date. I'd be annoyed if I was growing them cos I had a deadline but I don't so it's cool. Still fast though.

Went on a bike ride earlier, came home to see Moog celebrating their tranny ladder filter's patent.. and rightly so, one of the most ubiquitous designs in synthesizer electronics that shaped so much sound over decennia...

So I dug out good ol' Tim Stinchcombe's Analysis of the Moog Transistor Ladder and Derivative Filters and listening to AFX's Phonatacid now =D

Fabulous! BBC news did something on minimoogs a week or so back and said that many famous musicians used them including Rick Wakeman, Coldplay and Janet Jackson. Yeah, and certain others.
