Sorry to hear that, didn't know him myself but always sad when we lose yet another Bluelighter.Too many this year already.
 
I had no idea it was Grand National day. Somewhat ironically, I was watching an old episode of Russel Howard's Good News earlier which included a clip of Clare Balding saying "Everybody in the country knows that today is Grand National day." from a few years back. How very kismeresynchronodipitous.

Max: Good gobbba? What did your flatmate think about his trip to Saudi?
 
I think he found it a bit overpowering as he kept losing track of what was real and what wasn't and he's just not used to that sort of thing.
Once it calmed down a bit he was ok then and he even mentioned Saudi when he thought he was caught up in a warzone.

Yes I guess so mate. He has taken acid blotters and microdots with me and my wife in the '90s but it never seemed to touch him, but today took him by surprise I think.
I took good care of him though and bought down to a calmer place with some soothing music.
Don't think he will want to do it again though.

Bummer mate.I've got a bloody big abcess that I think will be causing me some pain in the near future. Must register with a fucking dentist to get it looked at.

Ya must. I'd not gone in two years and my new dentist sent me to hospital immediately on my first check up and was nothing to do with hygiene.
 
Do you think that your preference for types of drugs change with age?
When I was a teen and in my 20s I just wanted speed and E until I got into heroin that is.
Now in my 40s I much prefer downers to just sit back and chill out. The last thing I'd want is a wrap of speed inside me.

In my early-teens I liked spliff, speed, psyches, pills, opiates, coke and booze.

In my late-teens I liked spliff, speed, psyches, pills, opiates, benzos, coke and booze. But mostly just stuck on smack 'n' crack.

In my 20s I liked spliff, speed, psyches, pills, dissociatives, opiates, benzos, coke and booze. But almost totally only stuck on smack 'n' crack.

In my early-30s I liked spliff, speed, psyches, pills, dissociatives, opiates, benzos, coke and booze. But almost totally only stuck on opioid maintenance.

In my late-30s I like spliff, speed, psyches, pills, dissociatives, opiates, benzos and coke. But almost entirely stuck on booze.
