Just got back from the Doctor.

Bronchitis.

I can't for some reason sit still or lie in bed when I'm ill because it seems to exaggerate the symptoms and I end up feeling worse so I'll be taking my time getting my jobs around the house done slowly as to make them last so I don't have time to think about it.

I just wanted to ask this though:

Maxalfie: How did it go with your son? If it's too personal and you don't wish to comment just ignore this and I won't ask again.

Would love to know to it went well though.<3

What type of symptoms did you have? I get itchiness in my lungs at times, but it comes and goes. I just put it down to adjusting from a warm humid climate in the far east and relocating back to UK a few months ago. But it could be bronchitis as well.

Cant be arsed to go to Dr

Hi Ben, sorry to hear you got bronchitis mate, can't be nice.
Meeting with my son went brilliantly thanks.
It didn't feel like I hadn't seen him for 19 years at all and we just seemed to hit it off right away.
He's a real good lad, does thai boxing, mixed martial arts, running he is a right fitness freak. Took him out for a meal and he had to watch what he ate as he has a fight coming up in a few weeks.
Spitting image of me at that age(lucky lad).
Best thing was hearing him call me dad, nearly cried there and then.
Couldn't have gone better mate.

There are two types. I've had both but not sure which is which. Acute and Chronic.

The one I have now is like a bolt on symptom to a cold/flu. Coughing feels like being stabbed in the chest and you produce lots of nasty bright yellow phlegm. Breathing isn't anymore laboured than it would be from just having a cold/flu. Your breathing does 'rattle' a bit like you are breathing through sand.

The other type does come and go like you say but feels like you are drowning and can only 'sip' at air making you uncomfortable and dizzy/light headed but apart from that comes with no other symptoms that I could tell anyway.

If left both will lay dormant and return frequently and get more extreme with every visit. The only way to get rid is with a course of anti-biotics.

The reason I have contracted them in the past is because I was a heavy smoker but have been told that climate change can cause this also. I got it once when returning from Nevada back to England when I got off the plane the air felt like soup and soon after I got ill.

Fucking fantastic news mate. I'm absolutely made up for you. Made my day hearing that mate, thanks.

I had a horrible feeling all my enthusiasm may have come from my romantic wishful thinking side rather than my sensible realistic side and hoped I hadn't built it into something that was unattainable considering the circumstances.

But reading that has really given me a lift, thank you very much.

Hearing your own flesh and blood calling you Dad must have been very special indeed. Glad I wasn't there as I would have lost it mate.

Here's to a bright future for both of you mate, fucking banging stuff.<3

Thanks Ben. His mum has obviously done a real good job bringing him up.He doesn't smoke or drink and he knows all about my history so I just told him that I've done all the bad stupid stuff so he won't have to. Couldn't have wished for him to have turned out better than he is. He's got his head screwed on and knows what he wants for his future.
Strange hearing his northern accent though.
Are you on the antibiotics for a bit now then? What about smoking or have you stopped smoking already?

^ that's great news. kids are for life not just for christmas. I know I've let my lad down but I know he'll always be my son and I can make it up to him by sorting it all out and being there for him always.

For sure PinkP,doesn't matter how old you get you know the one person who is there for you is your mum,no matter how old you are.
I hope everything is good with you PinkP.
Right I've got to get off out to photocopy some more copies of my CV for what its worth.
Job centre keep recommending jobs for me in places like Nottingham or Middlesbrough even though they know I don't drive and would have no chance of getting to work each day. Feckers.
Oh well have a good day Bluelight peeps and hope you get better soon Ben.

Thanks Max, you have a good day too, sorry I didn't reply sooner mate. The sky turned black and I had to get the washing in.

Yeah got my anti-biotics now and I've quit smoking now. Also a positive to come out of this is I can now apply the Jancrow method to stop using my e-cig. Bonus.

It's baffling some of the stuff you get offered isn't it? Try and stay positive though mate, it will happen. All the very best good sir.

Awesome to hear it went so well <3

Sucks on the bronchitis Ben, sounds fucking nasty as :(

Just in from the shops, found a shopping centre with three pharmacies, convenient. Then got on the wrong bus back and took me nearly two hours to get home, all me fucking food defrosted. Sigh. Had my first ever Greggs Cornish pasty though, oh god so nice <3 Stuff is all fine on the housemate front, genuinely felt awful and it was pretty obvious I think.

So codeine and cuddling with my fluffy blanket for the rest of the day :D Need to get access to proper drugs methinks, can only get weed here. Might have a nip down the aforementioned road and see what I can find.

Cheers Snolly. I won't be a big moany bologny head about it anymore.

Like they say, worse things happen at sea.

I read about your weekend escapades and glad it turned out to not be as bad as you thought it would be. Always the way though. I sometimes think our brains have a design flaw. I'm not sure if I envy folk who seem to not suffer from this.

Cuddling and codeine sounds very nice, enjoy that and best of luck with your search. Have a great afternoon. <3

Hehe, you've got a right to have a bit of a moan I think! I'm the queen of it, people avoid me when I'm ill, even if it's not contagious :D

Thanks, yeah think you're right on the brain flaw thing! I still feel bad but I'm kinda glad I do because it means I genuinely love the boy, he's too nice for his own good sometimes. My phone died while I was out this morning and I came back to a text off him saying 'Where are you Snolly-Wolly?' cos he'd apparently come to check I was ok and got worried when I wasn't in <3

Tis nice indeedy, got bunny to snuggle with and Parks and Rec season 3 so I'm all good. Hope you have a good un yourself despite lung-related buggery <3

I've watched Avatar on acid, and it was pretty damn emotional at the time! The soundtrack makes it as much as the visuals when you're in that state of mind. Definitely something I'd repeat if I still owned either Avatar or acid.
Yup, that was pretty much the only reason I watched it. I was at the tail end of a low dose though, so it was enough for extra prettiness but not enough for me to get particularly emotional. (Though I think I'd probably find the subject matter a bit dark if I were properly tripping.)

Bitcoins = drugs. Can they even be used for owt else?
I was curious about this a while back and dug around the interweb, and there's all sorts of indie shops that accept them. So if anyone asks, you can just say you used your bitcoins to buy organic alpaca socks.

Avatar isn't a dark enough film to really upset a person on acid. It has death and destruction, but it's done so god damn pretty that you don't really care.

Avatar 3d sucked on acid (avatars, ironically) cuz it kept interlacing n i couldn't focus on the film, just pissed me off :X

Edit : Hi all,

Man last night was fun, apart from i didnt sleep till like 10am n passed out till 2 n missed 5 hours of work...

but i did all that was needed so alls well..

That taste of psyches has made me hunger for dmt, i want some divine moments of truth :D

Interesting you mentioned that Breakcorefiend because apparently the reason up to 15% of folk got migranes from viewing 3D content was because when presented with a 3D image and you try and focus on something in the background which is blurry because of camera focal length and the image stays blurry despite the illusion of depth the brain can't handle it.

Yeah it just caused more of a headfuck than was necessary, still tho pretty colours, much better watching it in 2d at me flat on the projector with a hot plate of freshly steamed k :D

good evening edd i am awake about 2 hrs didnt get to sleep till about 11am this morning after a all night acid waffle sesh.
took my last remaining 15 blue avatars trips in one go 30 mins ago im already re energised coughing a lot lsd brings up a lot of mucus.
