Just got back from the Doctor.
Bronchitis.
I can't for some reason sit still or lie in bed when I'm ill because it seems to exaggerate the symptoms and I end up feeling worse so I'll be taking my time getting my jobs around the house done slowly as to make them last so I don't have time to think about it.
I just wanted to ask this though:
Maxalfie: How did it go with your son? If it's too personal and you don't wish to comment just ignore this and I won't ask again.
Would love to know to it went well though.![]()
What type of symptoms did you have? I get itchiness in my lungs at times, but it comes and goes. I just put it down to adjusting from a warm humid climate in the far east and relocating back to UK a few months ago. But it could be bronchitis as well.
Cant be arsed to go to Dr
Hi Ben, sorry to hear you got bronchitis mate, can't be nice.
Meeting with my son went brilliantly thanks.
It didn't feel like I hadn't seen him for 19 years at all and we just seemed to hit it off right away.
He's a real good lad, does thai boxing, mixed martial arts, running he is a right fitness freak. Took him out for a meal and he had to watch what he ate as he has a fight coming up in a few weeks.
Spitting image of me at that age(lucky lad).
Best thing was hearing him call me dad, nearly cried there and then.
Couldn't have gone better mate.
For sure PinkP,doesn't matter how old you get you know the one person who is there for you is your mum,no matter how old you are.
I hope everything is good with you PinkP.
Right I've got to get off out to photocopy some more copies of my CV for what its worth.
Job centre keep recommending jobs for me in places like Nottingham or Middlesbrough even though they know I don't drive and would have no chance of getting to work each day. Feckers.
Oh well have a good day Bluelight peeps and hope you get better soon Ben.
Thanks Ben. His mum has obviously done a real good job bringing him up.He doesn't smoke or drink and he knows all about my history so I just told him that I've done all the bad stupid stuff so he won't have to. Couldn't have wished for him to have turned out better than he is. He's got his head screwed on and knows what he wants for his future.
Strange hearing his northern accent though.
Are you on the antibiotics for a bit now then? What about smoking or have you stopped smoking already?
Yup, that was pretty much the only reason I watched it. I was at the tail end of a low dose though, so it was enough for extra prettiness but not enough for me to get particularly emotional. (Though I think I'd probably find the subject matter a bit dark if I were properly tripping.)I've watched Avatar on acid, and it was pretty damn emotional at the time! The soundtrack makes it as much as the visuals when you're in that state of mind. Definitely something I'd repeat if I still owned either Avatar or acid.
I was curious about this a while back and dug around the interweb, and there's all sorts of indie shops that accept them. So if anyone asks, you can just say you used your bitcoins to buy organic alpaca socks.Bitcoins = drugs. Can they even be used for owt else?
Avatar isn't a dark enough film to really upset a person on acid. It has death and destruction, but it's done so god damn pretty that you don't really care.
that taste of psyches has made me hunger for dmt, i want some divine moments of truth :d
Avatar 3d sucked on acid (avatars, ironically) cuz it kept interlacing n i couldn't focus on the film, just pissed me off
