Couldn't rightly comment on your foolhardiness in general but you really are pissing acid away. But heyho, if you're getting it cheap then it's no real problem, I suppose.

And nice to see you back - much better to be pissing away acid than getting through silly amounts of pills and/or coke. Baby steps, eh? ;)
 
a friend brought me over a half gram of good coke to share with me yesterday my heart sank i had been off coke for a good while but we shared it anyway. i was taking a few trips he wasnt.
cocaine and lsd dont mix i think.
it just had me edgy again fuck that shit.

it is on blueray on a 42inch plasma with 5.1 surround sound mind a feast for the senses.
hearing 7ft tall blue aliens coming for you in the back speakers on acid is most rewarding

I was mainly thinking it would come in handy for those "first time nights" ;)

Also, I am one of the few here who rate Prometheus. Wasn't quite all there but definitely a fine addition to the Alien series. Suspect a Director's Cut and/or sequels will improve on it though. Felt more like a collection of scenes than a properly linked-up film to me. Damn fine scenes though <3
 
my friend lent me the entire aliens boxset its fucking mint.

prometheus was directed by ridley scott like the original 1977 alien film and the even better news is prometheus is a prequel and there are two other parts of the alien prequel series yet to be released.
i think the james cameron directed aliens film was american tosh a no brainer shoot em up.
game over dudes..
although it did have some american actors who were also in the first terminator film yer man who played kyle reese.
"the terminator is out there...he cant be bargained with or reasoned with and he absolutely will not stop till he has completed his mission...

You are so very wrong on Aliens being tosh. Pure class. Maybe an action movie but would've been easy to try to copy the style of Alien and fail miserably. Cameron did what he does best and turned out probably the best film he's ever made. I know the entire script word for word even now <3

One of the things I've always loved most about the Alien fillums is the variety. Each new director takes a slightly different approach yet all stay true to the underlying mythos. Is a thing of beauty and an example to all who try to make a franchise series: lay off the formulaic bullshit and strive for summat new each time even if sometimes it doesn't quite work. As long as it's done in convincingly convicted style. In related news, am also one of the only people on Earth who rates Alien3 <3
 
the original alien film they were up against one alien and it was an ordeal
by aliens film they are taking on dozens of them even wiping out the queen come on...bollox.
great film yes but mid 80's over the top shoot em up it is.
