As for atm23's lack of Crew status, he didn't request it, not that he was really given time to do so following his decision to step down. I'm not sure he'd want to be Crew; I'm not sure that I do really, but I stayed around for the voting process whereas he didn't.

This, no big mystery I was invited to request said 'crew' status but thus far I haven't done so, I might do just for a name change (it's all the rage don;t you know). I've no reason to think the request would be declined, I'm led to believe you get free sherbet dib dabs and carte blanche to use multi-quote at will

Maybe but under normal circumstances they get longer with each ban, bans are triggered by infraction points which remain on your profile for a good while, more points = longer ban.

I didn't think publishers accepted manuscripts any more, I thought it all had to go through agents these days. Never give up pagey, a good motto in life. A friend of mines becoming a quite highly regarded sci-fi writer which is inspirational to me. Wish he wasn't quite as prolific on FB though.
