I don't understand why the video tags are disabled, when you can force people to load shitloads of massive images in a thread....which is why the random images thread starts to become unbrowseable towards the end of each page.

Bradley Mannings court testimony leaked in full.

While unofficial transcripts of the statement are available, this is the first time anyone outside the court has heard Manning’s own explanation of how and why he gave the Apache helicopter video, Afghanistan and Iraq Wars Logs and State Department Diplomatic Cables to WikiLeaks.

Manning justifies his actions with a firm belief that what he identifies as US government wrongdoings need to be exposed in order to “spark a domestic debate on the role of the military and our foreign policy in general as it related to Iraq and Afghanistan.”

In the recording he goes on to accuse the army of “not valu[ing] human life," comparing servicemen "to a child torturing ants with a magnifying glass."

In regards to the “Collateral Murder” video, which shows US Apache helicopters opening fire on and killing civilians, including journalists, Manning said “the most alarming aspect of the video to me, however, was the seemingly delightful bloodlust they appeared to have.”

Slept dodgy and me back is fooked. Ace. Rabbit is being mercenary and only coming out from her lair when she hears me go in the drawer where her treats are kept. Then it's a quick stop to rub her fur all over me and then back to the dark depths of the corner of my room. I think, despite it going against all laws of physics, that she's shedding twice her body weight in fur a day. At LEAST.

Any weird nocturnal cuts, Snolly? I ain't been on here much in the last fortnight or so but I noticed you mentioned that and it obviously stuck in my mind because, well, it's unusual, innit?
 
Haha yeah, weirdly. I still have no damn idea where they're coming from, best I can think is the edge of my drawers or something when I'm sleeping? It's getting annoying, gonna start wearing gloves to bed
 
You wear any rings or any other jewellery 24/7? I imagine you'd have identified that as the culprit if that was the case, though. My money's on your rabbit.... get CCTV up a la Paranormal Activity.
 
Unexplained cuts (especially on the fingers and palms of the hands) have been regarded by many cultures as evidence of attack by denizens of the 'astral plane'. Yeah, I know.

Of course, I'm not suggesting that's the case; not for one minute. You'd have to be a real chump to put it down to otherworldly 'entities'. Spooky stuff though.

Up until about 1978 one could drum up a pretty high quality media circus on that premise.

On a sort of related note I've often wondered (most recently at about 5am on Monday) if Proctalgia Fugax was ever laid at the door of Incubi. I'm unsure how common it is but practically every bloke I've ever mentioned it to has experienced it at least once and kept quiet about it because it's strange and unpleasant. It's a CRIPPLING PAIN in the RECTUM which rouses you from sleep and necessitates walking round the house, lying on the bathroom floor, groaning out loud, trying to have a crap and various other home remedies. Sometimes it's so bad one can black out, although it's never quite reached that point for me.
 
Oh well, I've had a good run. Mugz was right, who knew? Tho could be the rabbit, she sometimes has that bloodlust in her eyes.

Either way I'm fucked.
 
Rabbit more likely. Not noticing when juggling lots of paper? Not sure. I've never traveled on the astral plane so I can't be sure.

Good to see Adam back, hows it going mate? In a better place I hope.

Anyone read Dancing Naked In The Mind Field by Kary Mullis? He claims loads of amazing stuff in that book and is a Nobel prize winning scientist so who knows?

Same here! We got 15cm yesterday but today the sky is cloudless and the sun has melted half the snow. Hoping I can go for a run in a couple hours. Shockingly beautiful day!

(Now if only my Dr was open past noon on Wednesdays...fuck stupid German Dr hours!)

Its fucking deceiving though, I got sunshine blazing in through my window whilst ravin out to some noiice raggatek n thought fuck it ill go to the shop n swiftly ran bk in to get winter-dressed.. cunting weather!

True, but it's perfect for me. I love running in the cold - prevents overheating! Last week was this weird in between weather, 10-15 degrees, too hot with my ear covering but too cold without it. Properly cold or just cool please, not the lukecold crap.

Agreed it is a great book, I don't read all that much but it's one of my favourites. The astrology, alien encounters and astral travel stuff makes for fascinating reading on subjects I couldn't believe were true. Being written by such an accomplished man of science however made me question my beliefs in ways no-one or no thing has ever been able to before.

In that link you posted Jancrow they mention the BBC Ghostwatch program. Does anyone remember watching that? I know it was never aired again but it is possible to get hold of that. I saw it at the time and shit myself. I was glad when it turned out to be fake. Also I remember some lad with learning difficulties committing suicide after watching it leaving a note to his Mum saying 'now I can be your ghost Mummy' fucking tragic.

I'm afraid to say Ceres that the thread discussing this was here in EADD in the PV thread, it was not in that scummy place we like to call the lounge, it should change it name to the rathole.


Mornernoon everyone, I just got up and thought there would be a lot more gibberings to catch up on, but I guess not.

I really have to tidy my room today as now I've lost another key that I had for only 2 days and it's getting stupid.
