Happy Birthday max <3

Sounds like you're having an ok day, really lovely to read about your son. I always think of you as the gentleman of eadd %)

Evening eadd, I had to suffer ikea today and a re-mortgage meeting with the bank :| didn't even have meatballs :\

I don't mind the eurotrash thing, maybe britfag etc is going a bit far, then again I don't really think of myself as a Brit :D

Fucking hate ikea, 5 mins in it feels like I'm lacking oxygen. I'm not one for recreational shopping (lol I do drugs for leisure =D). Got what we needed and got out. Though I do love meatballs and ikea one's are like the maccy dee world ones, trashy n' tasty 8)

So how's everyone doing this evening?

Not too bad love. I think my gf might be burning the house down, I can smell an awful lot of oven. All plush and plurry with you?

apparently ikea have great 99p hotdogs, and some people go there just for those. Really makes me want to go, but I don't know anyone that wants to buy furniture.

Sure you'll want to settle and get your own home Mugz - then you'll hate ikea but go because of the meatballs / hotdogs and amazing storage / organisation systems.

How are you feeling today?

Your girlfriend appears to be spending a lot of time in the kitchen jancrow? Are you doing the bins and dishes in return?

Kinda surprised peeps so young would be opting for traditional roles in the home...lol

*stirs up shit*

Urgh, went to Ikea with the ex. Only went for the meatballs, and never got to try them. The place is like a cattle market, and I just wanted to get out. It's a clever system of getting women to buy a load of shite. I'm not going back.

^
Don't think its just women treacle, really expect you of all people not to be a sexist shopping cunt :p

Agree though, its a horrible environment, anything that barn like filled with clutter is. Never mind the air conditioning - I HATE air conditioning, it's like poisoned air :|

Back to meatballs...

not too bad at the moment. Still obviously messed up, not with drugs, but had a relatively good offline day, could be off to rehab very soon, they want my knowledge!! lol

friggin scotlesb! (mirroring general vibe)

No she's just cooking for herself - she made me some cheese scones but I've been cooking too, it's just that this horrible new mod bullies me every time I mention it in the eating thread so I don't report on it. I should report him more. :(

I'd report the new mod jancrow - I know the one you mean the guy who likes to meatspin his err....8(

Hopefully you still load the dishwasher and take the recycling out too?

Wouldn't know what to say about re-mortgaging, Kate. Am guessing that's not a particularly Good Thing though? Or is it? Probably not thinking about it. Does that mean you get loadsa cash but far higher repayments or just the latter?

Kinda had the property for a considerable (long long) time shambles and there's not much £ left to be paid in it. And it's valuing ok. Though quite fancy knocking walls down, re-doing the kitchen, bathroom etc. It would be good to chat to folks who've done the re-mortgage thing, as I'm not confident at releasing that amount of asset in case I can't make it back.

Plus I apparently cant' retire now until I'm 66. cunts :X

EDIT: you think so knock, even though I have lil left to pay?

The way I see it, however much you have to pay, it's basically taking out a loan secured on your property. Therefore you're paying interest.

If you can just live without re-mortgaging, then you'll be throwing away less money.

However, your mortgage is the cheapest loan you'll get, other than from friends or family, so if taking a loan is your only choice then go for it.
