Guess I'll have to potter round iPlayer of summat. If lappy stays cool enough to actually watch summat through to the end for a change. Seems to be particularly bad watching video. Heyho.

I'm kinda faded on a load of prescription drugs, I feel so American.

that is so spooky. im drinking bmg and i too have tried to watch django twice. was going to try tonight but my son siad he wanted to watch it tomorrow with leek and potato soup

I've been scripted Gabapentin and Tramadol for a while now for neuralgia/nerve pain in my face and while they do work very well for the pain, both taken in max doses and I feel pretty damn good as well. I occasionally catch myself looking forwards to the next dose of Gabapentin, I can't help enjoying altered states.

And its all legal and government-subsidised <3

what are you scripted?
 
Nowt all that exciting tbh, Inso. Diazepam, temazepam and two seperate codeine meds are the only "recreational" kinda ones. Nice to have around but less than thrilling. Got fuckloads of tramadol too until recently but finally kicked the shit. W/d from hell and no mistake :|

Am waiting on going to a specialist pain clinic to get me meds sorted properly. Me GP accepts that I need more than codeine but ain't prepared to prescribe it himself so need to see a specialist. Eventually 8)
 
Ah I see, yeah I've heard getting scripted anything more than codeine/tram is very hard unless you have cancer or something. A close family member has cancer now and has some very strong meds prescribed - I saw some 'oxynorm' liquid around their house the other day.

I'm very careful with Tramadol and only take it when needed, since I've heard the withdrawals are hell on earth. I don't think its particularly great recreationally on its own anyway, good painkiller but codeine wins hands down in the feeling-nice stakes
 
Don't think it's quite my kinda thang tbh, Mz Marmz. Maybe a few years back but can't really be doing with the heavy drinking involved at metalfests these days. MDMA and LSD ain't quite right for such things :D

I don't know any metallers .. my mum's postie will probably jump @ the chance for a coupla pairs tho. Will txt him in the morning.

Hehe. Sounds like that could work, Eclipse =D

Am sure somebody else would appreciate them far more than I would anyway. Doubt I could even use 'em - travel, summat to sleep in, drug/booze money etc. Aside from the fact I am only one and festi's are not really that great on yer own. Am sure a suitable home will be found.
