I just want Mailmonkey to tell us if RM are now checking international post for drugs, given they've now specified it on their "prohibited items" list.

Not especially thoroughly ime. Which is a Good Thing. Although I was supposed to be getting some peev from the US and it never arrived. Dunno if customs got it or the US post nobbled it. Could imagine they might be stricted than ours with all their "terrorism" bollox

Looking at that leaflet, it semed to be more introducing the fact that you can't send spirits or nail varnish or perfumes in the post.. I wouldn't focus too much on the drugs thing - it would have been a bit odd to exclude it from the list. Also this is only for international post..

Yeah but my question was in light of them changing their list of prohibited items, it didn't used to say "no drugs" but it changed as of 14th January.
edit: I just noticed that is for international items, still, would be nice to know if there has been a policy change, monkey!

its also sort of a "boy that cried wolf" situation in the lounge at times. people in the lounge jokingly complain about shit enough that when real complaints come up the staff doesn't take it seriously... or the staff accuses the lesser posters of taking the place too seriously.
