Brimz, put in a formal complaint bout it, i fuckin would

Yeah, seriously - do.

I have a mate who's missing a testicle after going to hospital with a urinary tract infection, being held for a couple of days, fobbed off with antibiotics and then readmitted two days later with additional complications due to the infection having spread rather than being contained.

You don't want to be taking any chances, though I'd probably be relieved to be out, just like you are.

I was only chatting with a couple of senior nurses from GOSH about the same thing a few days ago, I've had some great medical treatment but also some serious disasters at least one of which leading to damage to my physical health.

I fairly recent experience in A&E showed up a growing trend to use the 'zero tolerance to NHS staff abuse' policy a a way of dealing with complaining patients. Both the nurses agreed and said they had witnessed the very same and that it was becoming common practice.

Written complaints would seem to be the way to go and IMO best done after exiting the hospital in question (if that's relevant), some of te incompetence out there is scary.

Best of luck with that fekered trotter Brimz....best think yourself lucky you're not a horse, I've been lame in more than one way for a good while now;)
