Gibberings CXVI - The end is nigh - False alarm, as you were

I used to "be afraid" of moths.

Acted like a right twat if a moth came near.

Then one day/night/session I had a moment of clarity, and realised it was just a learnt fear. My mother had always been, and still thinks she is, "afraid" of moths, she makes a right fucking fuss if one goes near her....So I'd associated moths through my childhood with acting like a gibbering twat, and carried this on. As soon as I realised this, I stopped being "afraid".

That's a load of shite, I wasn't seeking any attention while I was in the loft, I was seeking to do some necessary work.

Plus I spent half an hour NOT phoning someone because I didn't want to explain that I hadn't changed the bucket because of a spider. I've now lied to them about it. So no, shite.

Yes it's definitely the fact that we don't have violent video games in this country that keeps the blood of small children off the floors of our schools (relatively speaking).

I probably learnt it from my mum, I knew this before Dr Mailmonkey psychoanalysed me.

I'm very very clever, my brain learns things very well, I have learned the fear of spiders very well. I'm not a wuss, I'm just extremely intelligent. :)
 
You're not very clever at all if you've realised you got your phobia from your mother, but still continue to entertain it.

Or maybe you are clever, but just enjoy all the attention the "phobia" garners.

Stop being a dick. Most of the time it's not an issue because I don't encounter spiders. I don't go looking for spider experiences that I can make a drama out of.

I will take Mela's advice seriously. I'm going to do something about it. And I'm not going to mention the issue here ever again, because I don't want your attention.

It's not even full of spiderwebs. Well, not that I can see, I haven't looked up.

Anyway.... back on topic... the Royal Mail. Everyone get their 1st class letters posted today? It's the last day. I did not.

ok, wanna be really sadistic, spray the fuckers first so theyre flammable then give em a torching, man misspent childhood coming through into adulthood in a disturbing way.. :D
