Good news (although I'm the only one that cares :D), my mate who got done for supply got 18 months suspended sentence, no curfew or community service! Thank fuck. Judge must have been thinking straight today.

glad he's ok man, he seems to have got off real easy.

the law. the brother of a friend was run over and killed by a drunk driver while crossing the street on the crosswalk. the driver got 2 years suspended...

The new Mark Lanegan album! It sounds like a rainy Sunday afternoon in Paris, with some weed, a log fire and a dog curled up at your feet. It's quite cosy. <3

Won't be touching Arctic Monkeys with a bargepole. But might check out the Franz Ferdinand one, ta. :D

Don't be like that. I never thought you of someone who would judge a band by a name. The new album is great and they are popular for a very good reason. Hey ho it's up to you but your missing out. It's great. I'll check the Mark Lanegan album. Thanks for the recommendation.

Thbpt, fine, I'll have a listen because you do have good music taste. But they've never really been my cup of tea. :)
 
Yeah that's cool. Fair enough I thought you were dissing the album just because its the arctioc monkeys and dismissing it before giving a chance just because it was by them which I thought was vey much not like you at all.

It's a surprising album, really. Very grown up and well written.
 
I do feel like I've just given into peer pressure, though. Which certainly isn't like me. =D

Am definitely in the mood for some new music recommendations. Any more?
