damn, furry, you're so right on the sunset thing. its not even 8 pm here and already i have to turn on lights everywhere... noticed it first when i got back from the holiday...

thanks for reminding me of Twin Peaks.. never watched the show in its entirety, and i remember only fragments from back in the day when it was on the TV... i do remember the soundtrack though, and all of a sudden, while listening to it just now, got flooded with memories of that time.

strange how our brains seem to forget certain events only for them to be remembered when certain triggers come up.

dont get me started on what that awful song by that lone spice girl vitamin c reminds me of (i thnk it was called things will never be the same)...

Ups and down down downs man. I wouldn't even know where to begin nor would I wish to dwell on these last few years of unadulterated insanity.
Wife and I seem to have found a stable home and job back on the mainland - BKK was a good plan on paper but in practice it all went pear-shaped. Let's just say having your best mate die when you're living in the heroin capital of the world can fuck your world up considerably. Never going back there man. Not. Ever. Don't even want to see a postcard.
Positives?
1) Wife has forgiven me for two bona-fide suicide attempts that sheer luck and timing stopped from stopping me, if you get me,
2) Got mates in Spain who love care understand and can sort us out a job
3) Off the gear for EVER

Negatives? Let's not start that one...

How you been keeping Ben? You were an angel to me when Aaron died man give us a breakdown of your bad ass self, PM or public, same difference.
 
Sorry you have a bad time of it Pontifex. Glad you never went through with the suicide. Not surprised your missus was pissed off. What would she do wirthout you man? Think about that.

I'm really good thanks for asking. Had a great time yesterday with a mate banging meph and smoking weed and my GBL turned up today so things are great.

Having a bit of a last blow out before I start work again. But life has turned a corner for me since my MDPV days and my relationship with family and wifey are getting so much better since I quit.

Anyway, I love all you lovely fuckers take it easy I got spend some time away from my xbox with my girls. Take it easy. <3
 
Hi Everyone! :) Can anyone PLEASE HELP ME??? I'm doing homework for college. I'm writing an essay about prejudice people have against illegal drug users. I've been searching the internet looking for the statistics for the number of drug related deaths. I remember I posted these statistics on one of the early heroin drought threads here on Bluelight nearly 3 years ago, but our old posts are gone. And I can't find the chart now.....

I'm looking for figures of people who die from alcohol, cigarettes, benzo, heroin, coke, Hash (zero!) MDMA, etc.

I'm trying to show how legal drugs kill far more people then illegal drugs do. It doesn't matter if the figures are from Ireland or the UK. I've been searching for ages, but I can't find the info I'm looking for. Its gone 1am and I haven't even started this damn essay yet. :(

If anyone knows of such figures can you post me a link? I know the Irish magazine "Brass Monkey" printed the figures a few years ago (that is where I originally got them) and it was shocking to see how much more people die from alcohol, cigarettes & benzos. I wish I could find that link or any link....

I don't get that, surely meph, benzo's and bupe would be classed as more harmful than weed
 
Presumably a graph that shows the relative mortality figures, not the absolutes, would be more useful.

That is: what percentage of tobacco & alcohol users has died from their use? What percentage of heroin users has died from their use? etc
 
Went all the way to Lidl in the pissing rain and got ID'd, obviously didn't have it. Fortunately I discovered that walking early on in the day stops me wanting to fall asleep at the drop of a hat so I guess it's all good.

Plus I ran into a mate I've not seen since I went to uni and got the local town gossip, which was nice :D

edit: and very disturbing also
 
Hello guis.

This past week I've been stuck in a stripped out flat watching a Friends DVD that happened to be in the player attached to the signalless TV.

Has anybody had a better week than this? I sincerely doubt it.
