Morning all,

I've got no work on at the moment so it basically is still Sunday here. Plus, I'm back in my own flat rather than at my folks' now, so don't have to feel ashamed about staying in bed a while longer. PLUS it's my own bed which is much more comfortable than the one at theirs, with my memory foam mattress topper and another duvet-style topper on top of that. So I'm going nowhere just yet.

Just wondering whether the vendor that marked my goodies as in transit at about 2pm on Saturday actually did catch the last Saturday collection and whether they'll turn up today, or if I'll have to wait til tomorrow...

I feel rank, since last sunday I did a g of opium, then polished off a gram of 2-FA, some etizolam before I lost my baggie, then some decent speed a mate of mine found for 20 euros the gram and then on saturday day trip on 4-HO-MET while walking around town for hours. Yesterday I spent the day in bed shivering, today I don't feel that much better. Need to take better care of myself, overdid it a bit.

Thanks for the concern. It was a bit of a wobble (and a half), but I am dealing with stuff, I swear. It's just taking more time than I would've liked.

Saw my new GP this morning and I'm booked in for blood tests next week so I can start on the lithium asap. He was really keen to get stuff done, which is great. Hopefully that'll be the last of these episodes, but we'll see.

No, I was just running on alcohol and hypomania the whole time, as hard to believe as that may be. And stupidity of course. A big old dose of stupidity.

Stimulants often stabilise my behaviour in the short term, though it depends on whereabouts in the cycle I am at that particular time. They can also send the hypomania right into the lower reaches of mania, so I have to be extremely careful, even with caffeine.

I'm only just getting to grips with seeing my symptoms for what they are, so it's hard to say for sure. I've avoided any kind of stim for about six months or so, though ironically I would probably have avoided Saturday's castastrophe had I been taking speed or something similar.

I only laugh (partly you are still here and seem in decent spirits) and because I did a very similar thing on Deansgate 5 years ago, although I got flipped onto a taxi bonnet suffering pathetic injuries, the taxi driver was fucking furious! No sympathy at all, I then promptly got arrested for a load of shite, probably the best thing being in a cell at the time

Do hope you're OK though mate, I find Manchester a particularly tough place to be when in that state of mind

Your first guess was right. Doesn't get much more public in Manchester does it? The freshers who saw me do it probably think they've moved to a city full of dangerous nutters.

And I'm pretty lucky I didn't end up getting arrested like you did - that sounds fucking horrific. Glad you made it out of that one.

Yeah, this is a bad city to be in when you're feeling low. Grey everywhere. But I should've known that drinking too much would send me over the edge. Ah well, at least it's just a bad leg, a few bruises and a bit of a painful head and nowt worse! Cheers for asking though.

It would kill the forum stone dead with grief if you were to be about the seventh EADD death this year.

I was gonna ask you about make up tips, Im looking rough as fuck cutting back on the bupe, got huge black shaddows under my eyes that just scream smackhead, though ive never even seen the fuckin stuff. My Dad is coming to visit tomorrow, I'll just tell him Im having sleeping problems.

I've been on a bit of a downer the last couple of days as-well. So much is right in my world but I still swing. Insane int it? I was the sun last week ffs! THE SUN! Hope my low isnt relative to the high *gulp*

I just had a few Ts to self medicate the not being a sun anymore issue. Some things even Tramadol wont fix though.

Having a sunny weekend has helped me so much, instead of being stuck indoors wallowing in misery cos of bupe withdrawals ive been able to get out on my bike in the warm sun and burn off some of the anxiety and general shittyness. It raised my mood just when it was most needed, a fuckin rainy miserable weekend trapping me indoors would have driven me insane.

sorry, i didnt mean it to come across like that. Light therapy could be a way forward. Not sunbed light, but non uv bright light. I'm gonna give it a go, it might help through the winter.
