Ah, different thing, I'm thinking of these tiny iittle bombs you could buy and they looked like a bomb of MDMA but you threw them at the ground and they went bang.
 
Bangers Knock! That's what we called them away in the rural East Midlands anyway.

The wee things really did look like bombs of MD in a less innocent retrospect.

As if you could buy the cunts now, you'd be hauled away in front of the judge for possessing an explosive device

Don't think you can get them, but just cos i haven't seen them about with son and his mates.

Devil Bangers are still good though, yeah, they look like bombs of pirate but bang when you throw them, or squeeze between finger and thumb.

you can still buy them. I buy them fairly regularly.

They were fun. I see they were banned.

Or not! I see they're called "Fun Snaps". Right.

Bangers to me were actual fireworks. Like a small stick of dynamite, you lit the end of it and threw it at someone. Banned a long time ago.

You could improvise with babybel shells though, so everything was alright.

That's the ones. Had some laugh with them. Absolutely lethal, no wonder they were banned.

Got taken home by a spanish policeman when I were a wee lad for setting off fireworks in the countryside. We did it about 500m away from some tiny bar where an off duty happened to be drinking.

Looking back it was very silly as fires start insanely easy in dry weather.

Once there was a couple walking in the mountains near where I lived and they got lost. They didn't have phone on them so decided to summon help by starting a fucking fire. Set the entire south side of the mountain alight, had to get multiple water helicopters up. A lot of the landscape is still scarred.

Also once a helicopter collected water out of a mates pool, no warning just hovered over and dropped the massive basket in. Another time some poor sod got killed when a water plane scooped him up out the sea accidentally while he was snorkling.

Oh and on theme: 1p sweets. And 99s that cost 99p, that caught me out when I gave the man a quid and walked off, having him shouting for me to pay the rest.

I remember seeing that on a beach near Malaga, these planes were coming over and literally flying low and scooping water up....

We didn't know what the fuck was going on, then someone told us it was for a mountain fire.

Great entertainment.

For some reason I've decided that now is a good time to take one and a half tabs of AL-LAD. Spent most of the last three days reflashing my Samsung tablet with unsatisfactory custom roms. All I want is to access my music and video on my server, they're available on NFS and fucking Cif, you'd think that would be enough. I even compiled my own fucking kernel with the necessary modules, didn't fucking work, I think maybe I need to use the modules with the stock ROM.
It doesn't matter, no-one knows what I'm on about, Earth, swallow me now. Thank you.
