May I ask what you do? I hate this time - just back from travelling and counting down the days before I can go again (Probably Sweden or Morocco then want to go Vietnam / US) , we should be in Munich this weekend but I sort of dodged it (skive) so BF going alone. Everything is booked (flights, hotel, train tickets etc) - now looks like we have to cancel it as may need to go to China (and I'll not dodge that :D). Suitcases are still on the floor and haven't picked our clothes up from the Laundry after Thailand :D

(I specialize in a very specific type of security :D )

A few years ago I txt'd my manager telling him I was full of ket so not coming in :D - got to work on the Wednesday and shit hit the fan.

i lift steel around in a big steel stockholding warehouse, operate overhead cranes, dangerous shitter of a place, badly mananged, gotta drive 45 mins each way just to get there, steel dust in the air all time, noisey, dead end de-moralizing shit hole. but i shoulda found what i wanted to do in life years ago and persused something. it doesnt mix well with comedowns

travling around like you do sounds awesome

Can you not find something else nearer to home (and safer?). Traveling is fun - I often forget where I live :D.
 
perhaps, not many jobs around here though. the whole slaving your life away system for fuck all that we live in gets on my tits

Definitley, being a student cunt is fun though. Shit loads of xanax, breaking bad and a sympathy wank(s) today most likely. Untill my paltry 5 hour shift later at 6pm where I found out what happened after I lost my gram of flake in fucking TGI fridays, drank 9 pints before I went out and came home without my boxers and 1 sock. Im sure it will all be fine though, no spoilers though OK "
 
Just woke up now, last night ended up drinking a fair bit and muching those lorazepams grannie gave me, they were 2,5 mgs each, I hate two, then had more beers then chewed another two, by the end of it I was trying to watch Cloud Atlas but couldn't follow at all what was going on and all faces were double like when you're ketted out.

During the night I must have sleep walked while trying to to the toilet, ended up just standing next to my bed getting my bird out anhd pissing all over.

Messed. Feeling mentally clowdy as well, hope my 2-FA takes less than a month to get here.
 
I phoned in sick a few weeks ago and told my manager I hadn't slept and I'd been drinking all night and was definitely not safe or legal to drive.

I was told to have a couple of cups of coffee and go in.

I didn't.

But I did go in the next day, and I think, although she was pissed off with me she would have been more pissed off if I'd made something up and dragged it over 2 or 3 days or even 5 (which is standard for a sicky at RM as it goes down on your record as one period of absence whether its one day or 5)

Seriously not worth the hassle :D - (it's not and gives an employer grounds for dismissal) I was working for fun - the manager said he would sack me - I told him I couldn't care less :D. He started to take the piss out of me so I went on the sick for 4 months (full pay) they sent me a letter saying my full pay would end on x date. I went back the day before saying I felt a bit better - he piled so much shit onto me trying to get me to quit. I simply smiled and plodded on - then they offered to pay me to leave :D (haha - yes please).
 
Morning all. I've been wearing flipflops all summer, hate the thought of getting back into socks and shoes.

I'm trying to think of ways to help a friend who's coming off citalopram, she's having a really rough time. I don't think she's up to much though so I may just do a grocery shop and take it round. It angers me people aren't warned about this, I just read 40% of doctors have a lack of knowledge & awareness of these w/ds. Any suggestions on what helps (if anything) would be gratefully received, I don't know what dose she was on but she's been tapering for about a month and was on them for about 2 years.

But first I'm off foraging for blackberries, I found a great undiscovered patch yesterday. I'm going to make b/berry rum, gin and vodka and bung a load in the freezer.
 
I wish I could call in sick but I'm the boss since my boss moved to his house in the south if France, and my minion needs me to do some lasering tomorrow morning for him.

Then again I don't work Fridays so it seems a bit piss weak to calling in when you have already had a three day weekend
