It's annoying because he isn't being persecuted, and it's not the case that everyone dislikes him, however much he thinks they do.

I don't see him making deliberately inflammatory posts though.

So 'shut up' is considered inflammatory now? Or is it only inflammatory if it's aimed at Farmaz (who has me on ignore anyhow)?

And if he has you on ignore, why tell him to shut up? Why don't you put him on ignore instead if you don't want to keep reading his posts?

Farmaz and the forum have history. Not just me. Get that right. Although while we're on that subject, are you going to tell him to quit whining about it at every opportunity?

I was voicing what many people think when they read his bleating about people supposedly wanting him to die. It's old, it's the past and it's him perpetuating it. Not me. I even tried to engage him in polite conversation once or twice following his return; he got upset because I questioned his assertion about 'Illuminati conspiracies' and proceeded to put me on ignore.

Being honest, I don't particularly like the guy - I think he's a disingenous, ingratiating little creep with some repugnant views. Though as I've told one of your colleagues, that's my problem. Not the forum's.

If he were to quit moaning about his rather-skewed interpretation of the past (which often takes the form of a thinly-veiled swipe at me or the other people who 'hate him') then I wouldn't have anything to get wound up about, would I?

I was actually giving the guy a chance, believe it or not. I can handle 99% of what he posts, it's just the martyr shit that pisses me off. MSB he ain't.

Besides, you can't really ignore someone that well when you're lurking. Especially if that person's posting ten-to-the-dozen.
 
The ignore function is a bit rubbish, but really, you've given the guy a chance and you seem to spend a lot of time criticising him.

Put him on ignore. Please.

What did I say? I don't need to put him on ignore. I just need him to stop talking shite about hard done by he is. Problem solved. If there is a problem, that is - to be honest I feel I'm being asked to tread on eggshells here, and I don't think it's entirely fair.

The rest of his posts are pretty easy to gloss over, as I do with plenty of other people.

Sorry for the slight caginess, but there's the odd lovely soul on this board who'll have no qualms about using information offered in good faith against you when they have a tantrum, and they often get away with it, which is sad and kinda defeats the underlying purpose of the forum. So I'm being a bit vague.

Well I honestly think that his 'everybody in EADD hates me' schtick, while not inflammatory as such, is perpetuating this whole scenario. Maybe take that into account and have a word?
