Shingles is supposed to be pretty painful, several family members have had it. I always think of it as something old folk get, like gout and angina. Probably all that fuckin' pirate!
 
Aw poor dan - see it wasn't skiving you were sick! Its more common in older people, it can happen if your immune systems low or you're stressed, probably both in your case Dan. Its contagious till the blisters have gone, and you need to not be around pregnant women (very important) unless you've told them and they've had chickenpox in which case its ok.

i got given a prescrption for Aciclovir, im not sure i can be assed to go back up town and get it though

Get some gabapentin or pregabalin/Lyrica for when it goes hard & crusty and falls off (the postherpetic phase) The neuralgia/itching will be unpleasant, but with one of those drugs you'll barely feel a thing. Apart from poxy. heh.
 
Afternoon people.

Had such a bad headache last night, totally wrecked my night it felt like i'd be flying kicked in the bonce by Hwang Jang Lee.
Some strange noise making animal ripped the bin bag apart in the garden too so that was nice to wake up to, stupid council with their multi bins for different things. What happened to the good days when they just took your bags but now it's got to be sorted into 80 different piles or they refuse to take it.

Just had a look what shingles was on Google & the image section is grim :(

Re the Zoo Project line-up. You must have heard of Derrick Carter or DJ Sneak? If not then surely Grandmaster Flash lol. Quite gutted I missed him, I was interested to see what he'd play but I think I was too busy rolling about the camp site at that point.
 
Just checked out zoo project crackhead, lineup looks well up my alley... I'm jealous of everyone who's been to a festival, I haven't been to any this year. Plenty of drugged up times spent under canvas though :)

Ouch nasty dan, never had shingles, I had chicken pox as a kid, is it true you won't get it if you've had chicken pox? I'm off till Friday this week, spending my days smoking some really nice cheese, and mixing house.. Bliss!

I'll check that set when I get back from the shops, and yeah I know Derrick Carter and Grandmaster Flash :D! Never noticed them in the line up, GF would have been an essential set!

Any views etc on 2-MeO-Ketamine or N-Ethyl-Norketamine as a replacement?

EDIT - after pages of chemical stuff I can't understand & a few reviews it sounds shit, I'll wait till late August.

I would NOT recommend either 2-MeO-Ketamine or N-Ethyl-Norketamine.

Go with regular ketamine.

Regular K round here is like finding Gold sadly, even if you do find it the product is bashed.

Edit - Never got Doug Stanhope & don't think I will. I've always felt his a poor Bill Hicks rip off.
