When I was on hardcore antibiotics for a coupla months for an infected abcess I also lost all desire for booze. Sadly it didn't last once I was able to drink again but I don't seem to drink as much as I did before. Enforced abstinence can be quite handy sometimes.

Glad yer feeling better too. Wounded feet are no fun. Never had owt as bad as what you had there but have been unable to walk with massively swollen feet after hitting things I shouldn't have done down there. Never realise how much you need your feet til you have to rest 'em up for a while. Actually you probably do realise how much you need your feet but is still shit when they need resting up.

This is the problem I'm meant to be on a break and I've ended up in a full drug binge again, honestly don't know what to do and noone is any craic today so can't get out of the house to do something else. Head fry!

I'm using reason too, so if ya make yer track as a self contained song file we could collab on a track, tbh i was gunna make a thread about it, would be fucking fun =D
 
I just don't even fancy it at all , had one drink in the last 2 months n that was when i got 4 cans of special brew for £2.50 . I couldn't turn it down:\

Just reinforced the reason to not bother . I think when you get over 30ish booze becomes really hard physically , i was never a big drinker apart from a stage of alcoholism (proper all day drinking ) .
Drugs have always come first especially downers in my latter years

Aye. I totally agree on the booze thing. As a yoof I'd be drinking brandy from the moment I woke up (along with the weed, benzos, opi's...) but drinking really takes it out of me now. Takes a good two days to get over one night of fairly heavy drinking. Sometimes three days. Plus I become a total arsehole half the time when I'm pissed. Am really trying to keep it to a minimum but is so much easier than getting proper drugs sometimes that it starts to look far more attractive than it ever should for such a shit drug. Am planning on sticking to decent drugs as much as possible this year and even those in some kinda moderation (comparatively, naturally ;)).

Nah man, it's been falling as sleet this morning in Edinburgh. The ground is wet. We just had a half hour of heavy snow, but then it passed.

Just back from the JC. The two nice blokes at reception got me to fill out some forms, which should kick the mess into gear, and get me some dough!
