yeah, my dad suffered terribly from acne an pushed for the optimum treatment for me at the time, which was roaccutane. even though my acne wasnt particularly severe. lips so dry that they would literally split open if you smiled


though at that point that i did feel shit and at times suicidal, it couldve been down to a multitude of reasons



fell asleep and missed the bastard program
 
life's too short to whine about peoples character on forums. Especially when you've just complained about this one have an 'adverserial vibe', TonytheTiger. Out of interest though, why are you so concerned about there not being many female members who post regularly?

It shouldn't be that confusing. You deliberately call them boys instead of men just a few pages back to degrade them. You also say they are maladjusted, which is also derogatory, because as far as I can see they are quite normal for 20 something males. Can we just ignore each other as agreed please?

I am not too concerned, I noticed others showing concern, and thought as an outsider maybe I could shed some light on what makes both genders shy away from this part of bluelight. But i'm happy to leave it there. But you are right, life is too short and I will now block him :)

It was no attack upon your forum name in what I posted & you removed as quick. I should add you were very quick on the case with my 2nd comment ;)
 
I've been on this board....forever basically.

I've had my own run-ins with Sam's moderating.

In no way is Samhain responsible for the disproportionate ratio of men to women on this board.

In fact, in (t)his era, I'd argue strongly that there are more active female posters than at any time since I've been here. Sam certainly can't (and I'm sure wouldn't) claim any credit for that. But it's a statistic that flies in the face of your argument Tony.

I'll happily ignore you now Tony, as long as you quit using spurious arguments as a cover for your personal dislike of my character. Or rather, your own quite inaccurate perception of it.

No, he essentially removed himself through a combination of tenacity, stupidity, scary obsessions and pissing off admins.

I would happily have 'removed' him from a speeding rail carriage, however.

Ok. Like I said it was just my own personal perception of him, whether it has any bearing on the make up of this board I don't have the foggiest and you are better placed to say. I am open to being wrong about him and will just observe whilst ignoring, and will apologise if I am wrong.

I feel like I may have been wrong about you in the first place, you do indeed seem sound as badandwicked said :)

So why not (as you yourself suggest) apologise to me, whose character you attempted to besmirch - under the guise of going into bat for women who don't need you to do so- or even just he board in general, rather than trying to ingratiate yourself with SHM?

HaHa! :D that just gave me a mental image that made me chuckle. He claimed to be built like a young Arnold Schwarzenegger ("we have similar shape heads too") and the only pic I've seen of you is the one in a pub where you look a bit like Brian Molko. :D

I'm pretty sure you could have taken him IRL though, I suspect you have the necessary viciousness for a successful plan B when diplomacy fails.

Thing is what I say I stand by, I am not dumb like most of the people you dealt with.
You turned me onto The swans & I am quite sure we share some mutual experience in life i.e.the post where we had a debate when I 1st came back here ;)
