Fuck it, more codeine down the hatch, load of 30/500s kicking around, Mum tried to complain but I helpfully pointed out that the prescription on the box most definitely does not have either of our names on it and that we would split them ;) It's that kinda day for it, I think.

Wish net here was better, I'm in a right mood to watch some Roger Moore era Bond flicks but noooo. I will just act them out in my head instead.
 
i find rechargeble batteries are somewhat of a false economy, they lose their charge and capacity fairly quick


but then again back in walkman days ive had cheap regular batteries and had them die a couple songs in



one of those frustrating things in life like coca cola in which cheaper alternatives just dont cut it. batteries are expensive, but what isnt these days
 
Cheers for sharing that battery link, will probably go for those as that's fairly cheap! :) Would they charge using the normal MFLB charger do you know?

I'm still using a load of NiMH batteries that are a few years old, you're right the capacity goes down but I just keep rotating them into the charger. Pretty sure it's cheaper than buying new batteries all the time. Batteries are, as you say, expensive.

I'm having a chilled Sunday, off to my folks in a bit for a late Sunday Dinner lightly toasted but I think I can affect 'normal'.. I don't think they'd be too bothered if they knew I was having a puff again but anyway...Its medicinal.

arghh I've got a bloody 'thing' thats attached itself to my pc like a limpet. I wanted to speed my computer up and like a div I went to download a thing called TuneUp or whatever.. anyway I saw reason halfway through and cancelled it. Now it keeps reminding me that I need to finish downloading and my computer is running ultra slow. Its refusing to be uninstalled. If anyone can offer any laymans advice I would really appreciate it :)

yeah, for some apps, but for this Launch Box you NEED rechargeables, really... I used to get through about 8 of those high powered rechargeables a day....

they would, but would be very slow...get a charger with a very high mA output figure...once you've been using the MFLB for a while you get used to how many decent hits you get off a battery, how long it takes to properly charge...when I was using the Launch Box exclusively, my life revolved around batteries, and my charger....
 
Most of those tuneup utilities are scams.
Just uninstall it from control panel..or as Knock said let it do its thing then delete it

Kasperksy Internet Security when configured properly is basically all you need for a PC.
Its rootkit scan is tops

Agreed , its simply the best, used it for 7 years not a single virus or BSOD
Helps if you have an Acer laptop, they are amazing.
such a fallicy that people think Macs are better than PC'S

Pity those poor sods that pay £300 quid more for a computer simpky because it has a picture of a fruit on its lid.
