I'm watching the original Dawn of the Dead on BBC2 ... I have a huuuuge soft spot and lots of love for Romero
 
Ive got the vhs box set of Roots.. brilliant series. I read the book as well.
One image, in particular, stuck with me.. The captive slaves were held, shackled together on coffin like shelves like 'spoons in a drawer'. :( and in their defecation because they were only bought up into daylight to be hosed down, as I remember, every couple of weeks.

I loved fiddler ' a new day is gonna come'... and it has!

I'm still trying to get to sleep ... major rainstorm has been belting on my bedroom window for the last 3 hours ... the wind is manic too. sounds dismal out there

No point sleeping now, might as well just stay up and have an afternoon nap after lunch. Get some food and wine in you, best cure for bad weather.
 
does anybody find it really annoying when people keep saying err inbetween words?
 
nice sunny morning over here but cold as fuck, had a extra few hours in bed as the heir to my throne stayed over in his aunts last night.

just had brekkie then its a shower n shave before we do some shopping then collect my son.

I agree, the original films he did were great, the best imo is the black & white night of the living dead.

Dawn of the dead makes me think of people at xmas time, all walking round a huge shopping centre like zombies. I read a piece from him saying this film (Dawn of the dead) was about consumer culture.
 
Home from Sheffield, was nice to see my Grandma, aunty, and cousins, and uhhh...interesting...to see the relatives, including a Jimmy Savile lookalikey who had my Mum cornered in the kitchen babbling shite most of the night while me and Sis tried to decide whether to rescue her or laugh.

Wanted to get on the booze today but to be honest I'm thinking more bed, films, and some of the tea samples I got sent. 50 10g samples, get innnnn :D
 
i think i was mistaken about the salty meph..

we hammered it last night, and i didn't notice much salt flavour, and missis didn't mention it either... I hadn't told her in advance I thought it was salty..

I dunno what to think about anything though tbf. And I've spent too long worrying about salt cut meph that isn't for the last couple of days...fucking weird.

The Magic Flight box has arrived mate.

Brilliant little gadget, giving it a test run now :)

Will take your advice about the batteries though. Ordered some rechargables from amazon

They are great wee things, especially if your like me and all about kief. But definitely get some new batteries, right now I can't use mine because the stock batteries no longer have enough power to make the thing worth using. Really need to get new batteries but too low on funds right now, should as well because it saves weed in the first place.

Although, if your not getting it for portability/stealth a desktop vape is always going to be better. But MFLB suits me perfectly for the time being and it's a good way to get started with vapes.

MFLB batteries, i use palocell 2800mAh ones, off the bay , got about 16 of them....they are about the highest charged ones you can get....definitely get a faster high capacity charger too, the one the MFLB ships with is very slow...
