Incidentally ... this is the day featured in a little known flick called Static ... I've never found it to buy or DL so I can rewatch ... used to have it on VHS before I lent it out. If you ever see a copy anyone, please link me .. cause it was a little blinder of an 80's movie. Totally original.

Seriously, you don't get movies with tales like this anymore ... the 80's were fucking PERFECT for beautiful movies like this:

We're good Kate thanks for asking. P is loving her job and college. Shes happy which makes me happy. She went through a difficult stage from 13 to 15 which was bloody hard work she really is headstrong but when I look at her I just feel so proud.. mostly because shes a really nice, genuine person.
She's also a really good laugh I literally crack up her.. proper belly laughs. She does fantastic impressions.
Me girls away tonight and I miss her.. fuck knows how I'll feel when she leaves home.

How are you n yours luv?

Glad to hear from you <3 and that is all as can be with the girl. You're an inspiration coping with a fledging woman. Cumbersome boys to men aren't so complex (see earlier posts about wank into socks) it's all bumbing, testosterone, loud voices and hairiness :\ Not much charm to rearing men. Now women, well that's a completely different kettle of fish %)you have my respect on that journey <3

Sons and me doing fine thanks, household and other things not so great, but I'm long enough in the tooth to appreciate and deal with it. Have extra stress with houses, need to get rid of 2 and renovate 1 haha...expect me to ask lots of ebay and selling vintage questions over the coming months. fucking property, yeh it was a Thatcher ruse.

his vocals on that make me melt ... one of my faves

one of the best intro songs to an album ever is on Dusk imo ... True happieness this way lies

Matt's a tremedous vocalist and writer, totally spot on so many times philosophically and politically

... they played most of Dusk when they headlined reading in 93 and it was truly magical. I'm not much of a festival goer but they were perfect back then.

Bloody hard work <3 fucking gold star putting up with adversity hard work brining kids up is on your own! Don't ever forget that. It's no surprise your feeling depressed, you're giving up so much for someone else, its difficult, but not for ever and it will change.

Have you ever noticed Yellow that your life majority changes every 5 - 7 years? Thinking back you'd never have guessed you'd have been here today? Take strength in that, nothing stays the same.

Here's me now reared the kids, new freedom led to new relationship (marriage), led to....who fucking knows? Apart from the fact I'm moving and evolving as is our female want.

You're gorgeous, powerful - don;t busy yourself too much with child and domestic business, take some energy for your own <3
