was just reading about the moon. Each month has a different title. The contemporary English name for the November moon is the Beaver Moon. Celts called it the Dark Moon. While Cherokees called it the Moon When Horns are Broken off.

Not a lot of people know that.

Think that may be wrong, not that I know much of such things.

It just struck me that we don't have beavers (no giggling at the back please) on this fair isle.

It seem Beaver Moon is probably American and here it would a Dark Moon....http://home.hiwaay.net/~krcool/Astro/moon/moonnames.htm

dull shitter of a rainy morning here, feel sorry for people who have to work in it. hgv tyre fitting in this must be rough

oh my god its PISSING down with rain outside, and the wind is proper howling. Just heard a wheely bin blowing down the path.

Gonna be a fun morning delivering :(

Morning all. Its blowing a gale here, the rain in the night woke me up. The poor chickens are being blown around like feather dusters :D

Not a day for moving house but you gotta do what you gotta do. Ive got a van so Ive lost count of the people ive helped move. You're never short of friends if you got a van :|

A mad woman I used to work with has just flown back from Ghana after marrying a guy she met 5 months ago online. His name is Smucci Gucci.

What a boring life I lead in comparison.

Just had a shower which has picked me up a bit but the world can get t'fuck if it thinks my brain's going to be working today. Nay meds either...

I was going to marry a Japanese guy when I was in Uni so he could stay here. His surname was Nakaki and my first name is Nicky :D

My world extends greetings to your world Monsta.. long time no gibber. :)

rawrrrrr I just did a multi quote for the first time. Its a bit skew wiff but its a work in progress.

Morning Monsta. To be fair 3-5 ain't that bad seeing as lots and lots of organisations give you a 9-5.30 'window'. But I feel your annoyance!

Hullo YPDH, how goes it with you? That's some mighty fancy quoting you're doing up there.

My day is annoying too, I'm trying to compose a second appeal against a penalty fare (£40) which I was issued for a genuine mistake. I've never actually tried to bunk my fare in my life so I'm extremely pissed off that I will probably have to pay this.

Also, weirdly, I've got cravings for a godawful time-leeching online game I became deeply involved with for a week or so, then trashed my account on yesterday by changing the password to something I don't know and can't work out. Thing is I'd kept a copy of what I thought it was in a text file with the intention of only letting myself in on rare occasions but that doesn't seem to have worked. You can't always get what you wa-aant, eh?

Come off it, "Forgotten your password?", I'm sure you gave them your email address.

Why thankyou kind sir * curtsy *... I'm actually quite chuffed about it as it goes.

I've got a load of bureaucracy, admin and red tape kinda shit to wade through today.. piles of it Jan. Its over-whelming. I feel like a rabbit in the headlights about to get run over because all I can do when I come online to do the shit is fanny about with bluelight :D

Big up Nicky Nakaki's quoting skills! :D

Yes I did laugh at the chickens, she knows me so well.

The other day I found out Samhain is pronounced Sowain, and I thought of our own fair moderator.

I saw a program about beavers being reintroduced in Scotland the other day, amazing creatures.

I actually use semi-disposable email addresses at a domain I own whenever I sign up for websites or services and I have no idea which one I gave them. I could dig a bit and possibly work it out but there are at least 20 I use regularly... and the point was to limit my access to this fucking thing... but in locking myself out I may have done myself a favour.

Part of me is craving the simple action > reward > building aspects of this frigging game. The same part of me that let me waste hours and hours and hours on it and games like it when I could have been bettering myself.

I wasted a few days on minecraft earlier this year, it is addictive, good fun and of course utterly pointless. Not that that's a bad thing, except when it consumes you.

Indeed it is.

Though I still can't tell you what possessed me to adopt the name for BL. Except all the replacements sound even more pretentious and twattish.
