Should be getting a phone interview tomorrow for a sales job that pays no wage, commision only. Its this new EU grant that the UK got for roof insulation. If I get the job I will have to convince people to sign up for the free insulation and I'll make £50 per person that I get signed up, if I can't get anyone to sign up then I make no money

My mate did that job, every time he turned up at someones house he'd been told to go to because he apparently had an appointment the home owner either wasn't in or told him they hadn't asked anyone to come round about insulation. The call centre people cold call folk and as long as they don't get told FUCK OFF YOU CUNT they take that as permission to send someone round. You get sent round there thinking the person is interested but they'll just tell you to fuck off.

My mate got bumped in the end and never got any money from them, was owed about a grand. Don't bother/

Mate I just came back from an interview for a similar job, commission only sales, I walked out of the job though, I need to know I have a guaranteed income, can't be wasting all day talking to cunts for nothing. They always make those jobs sound better than they are, I already quit one of those jobs earlier in october. They suck

Okay edit for longer story:

Basically yesterday I posted that today I was going to do an interview for a job selling cosmetics at a mall right? Well I turned up at the interview and they told me that no the job at the mall is only for girls, I was going to be "selling" car repair coupons to businesses and people. I did the inteview, didn't even ask for my CV. Basically they then sent with this guy an hour away from te city to go into every shop and house and try to convince people to buy those coupons for the car repairs.

After the morning they asked whether I wanted to do it and go work tomorrow and told them no. At the interview they told me I could make 3 grand a week easily, yet in the two hours I was with the guy we must have entered about 30 shops(off licences, the post office, chemist, watch repair shop, everything) and at least a dozen houses and didn't make any sale.

There's tons of dodgy bullshit jobs like that in Aus and they always employ non residents, all the hostels were full of adverts for shitty things like that, some of my mates did them and like yourself none lasted more than a day because it became obvious it was dodgy, a scam or you'd never make any money. I'm up ssurprisingly early, just woke up for no reason and cant get back to sleep. I'm a bit worried about my benzo situation though, I only have about 250mg of phenazepam left and I dont have much etiz left and the midaz I have wont be around much longer so I'm not really going to have any benzos. I think I'm gonna need to book an appointment with the doc and explain that I need to be put back on benzos for my anxiety as it's making me more anxious trying to find other ways to get benzos to prevent the initial anxiety.
