That might look good but, seriously, I got served this shit at the Savoy once. Once? You think I've been there twice? We did a runner when Tom O'Connor came on as the after-dinner speaker.

Probably the worst meal I've ever eaten.

I dunno if I'd eat food like that personally, i don't see the point in wanky concept food atall. This was just some obsessive artists work.

As for Tom O'Cuntner...it was a tobacconists convention. Mate had free tickets and gave them to me as we were in London that day. The vegetables were done like that and were shite. We were on a table of 11, us, two Asian guys, and seven racists. It was both the most inedible and the most embarrassing meal Ive ever sat down to. Just after eating Tom came on and they started passing round envelopes with a 'suggested' donation of £25pp. I said to L, we're leaving. She said, what? And I was gone. It took her about 30 seconds to catch up with me. I am now well acquainted with the Savoys less well-known corridors and exits.
