OK I'm gna say this once. When it comes to Christianity it is about FAITH and FAITH alone. If people do not believe, then that's fine. My family are atheists - I just do not discuss it with them because I've no right in trying to change their views as much as I would hate them trying to change mine (and I know full well that they would so thus I do not discuss the subject with them).

It's about faith, believe and respecting what people believe. I respect people whom are atheist and I would hopefully, hope that people would respect that I have the beliefs that I have...

No point in trying to get evidence (atheists) in trying to disprove Christianity to Christians, because that is just as offensive as, say, Jehovah witness going to people's door n trying to convert them into their religion. Get me?

What's wrong in accepting everyone as how they are n live n let live?

Why? God could have prevented any and all of these accidents so clearly wanted them to happen and also wants those who died to die and those who survived to survive and those who are horribly wounded and/or disfigured for life to be horribly wounded and/or disfigured for life. You appear to believe you know better than your deity which rather smacks of what we all know to be the case: that humans wish for a higher power to try to make sense of tragedy but rarely have the courage of their convictions because they always presume they know better because they are more obviously compassionate than their deity of choice.

Once again, your deity of choice predetermines all of this. What conceivable point does pleading with the ultimate in brutal cosmic dictators have beyond wishful thinking? Again, this is clear evidence of complete lack of courage of conviction and no real thought or insight into the platitudes spouted that demonstrate nothing beyond the fact you care a fuckload more than your chosen diety does.

Have some self-respect. Why toady to tyrants who get off on smashing hundreds of thousands of (mainly young people with their lives supposedly ahead of them) into trees and oncoming pedestrians and such like for no obvious value beyond wank material, shits and giggles.
 
And their friends and family? And those others killed or maimed along the way? What about those who are non-believers? Or follow a different religion to your own?

What if all religion is as bullshit as it appears to be and these deaths are entirely preventable but with people who are happy to accept "it's all just god's will and they're in a better place now" this does not help.

If you really believe this then why don't all Christians kill their children at birth? Why not all commit mass suicide right now? Cos life means a damn sight more to the living and it's easy to pretend that the horror of death is fine just so long as it wasn't you and you can placate yourselves with nonsensical ideas of "heaven". I notice no religious person ever manages to engage on the whole "heaven" debate either funniliy enough :\
