Undertaker faints after 'dead' woman asks 'where am I?' from INSIDE coffin

The elderly lady, who was pronounced dead hours earlier by doctors, reportedly awoke inside her coffin before opening the lid and asking the stunned funeral director, "Where am I?"

When he came round, he found the woman still lying inside the casket with her eyes wide open.

An ambulance was called and the pensioner, who was still alive, was taken to a local hospital.

Two days before, a doctor was called to her retirement home in the city of Gelsenkirchen, Germany.

Her carer found she had stopped breathing and the doctor pronounced her dead at the scene.

She was taken away by the undertaker to the Munstermann funeral parlour, where he received the shock of his life.

A police probe is underway to investigate the doctor and nurses that originally pronounced the woman dead on Sunday evening.

The head of the retirement home, Lother Burger, said: "This is terrible and inexplicable.

"We are being devoured by the press, we are being pilloried."

Are we really to believe that is a genuine word for word quote from a German old peoples home ?

FG have they started selling those little magazine things by the tills in the supermarket like they do in the states or have you found some old copies of the Sunday Sport :D

No sunshine here, but contendness all the same. One more four-day-week, then a three-day-week, then out of this grand and esteemed realm for a few sweet days.
