Gibberings CXCI -- these tarts were made for popping

Werewolf child!

on a much brighter note, I get to go tan in a bit. Thank fuck because it is baltic I cannot feel my piglet toes.

Once I am warm again I plan to lie under my covers and daydream so hopefully I'll sleep all night!

Good evening EADD, I hope you are all well.

Been missing for a few days helping family bring a new human into the world and we're so fucking delighted to finally after a long labour, quite a few complications to have a new baby boy in our kin - Bryce born last night eventually by Cesarean section at 11.16pm weighing in at 8 pounds, 10 half ounces. He's gorgeous %) Newborn sweetnesss <3.

Changed his nappy this morning, first time I've not changed a nappy in 23 odd years but it was like riding a bike :D. Now I'm onto helping with the breastfeeding as I fed both of mine, the 2nd until he was 2 but don't tell anyone 8). So I'll probably be missing for a bit more doing my dulla business. I'll be lurking and trying to catch up with you all in between, so be good and be safe <3

Shattered but so happy, the whole event has been epic, funny and hard going - life is SO SWEET! %)

Thank you for all your good wishes and blessings they've been appreciated, karamacomeround <3%)<3

I am so glad everything went well! What a lovely name too :3 <3 wee babies.

Happy Days Kate :)

By the sounds of it the birth was similar to my first, quite the emotional marathon. Felix has been on his best behaviour, tucked up 10 pm every night not cleaning windows.. :D <3

I was on diamorphine, which as much as I loved the euthoric feeling, I never had a proper feeling of little one's birth n regret that. Obviously had no choice as needed pain relief as being induced intensifies the pain apparently. But it's like looking back as if I was drunk n it's a kind of regret.

Congrats on newborn, Kate n Kin <3

On the breastfeeding thing, I don't think two is especially excessive at all, Kate. Thought that was what was recommended as fairly optimal for those who can manage it actually. My youngest brother was breastfed up to the age of four or five. Not exclusively, obviously, but was still getting his daily bewbiejuice top-up until around that age. Must admit it does seem a little odd when the child just walks up to mother, lifts her top and starts chowing down and I did think she took it on a wee bit far for her last one. Think 'bitty' and you're really not too far from the truth.

Ramble aside, I am mildy envious of the new baby smell you must be enjoying up there, Kate. I do love that new baby smell <3
