My slmost 6 year put her uniform herself for the first time yesterday. Dead proud I was. Was doing something she kept shouting "Mam, get me changed!"
"In a minute," was my reply
Awhile later she walks in fully dressed.
"Is it right?" I cuddled her n swung her telling her how very proud Mam is of her. Little things like that are so important n magical.

(And yes, I know a newborn boy is typically 3k5 and a girl is nearer 4 -- and indeed, this is actually how all my Continental friends describe their babies.) I bet none of you even actually know how many pounds make an ounce.
