Stay Informed, Be Safe
Roflcoptr was a brand of MXE which was also quoted as a slang name for the drug in several news articles. It is rarely used as such by users. Following press releases by the UK home office calling methoxetamine "mexxy", some users have begun to call it this due to its credible-sounding nature. Prior to receiving media attention it was typically referred to as "methoxetamine" or just "MXE".
Methoxetamine will be a temporary class drug from April 5th 2012. Users found in possession will simply have their MXE confiscated but those proven to be selling the drug may face up to 14 years in prison.
Overdose of MXE is not fatal, but results in users slipping into an anaesthetised state where they are unresponsive to external stimuli. Depending on the dose they may remain like this for several hours. It is sensible to call an ambulance in this situation due to the risk of the user injuring themselves or choking on vomit, particularly if they have also used alcohol. Don't forget that ambulance crews will not report drug use to the police.
While not physically addictive many users have reported MXE to be very moreish after regular use, often finding themselves thinking "Why shouldn't I?" and taking it even though they recognise their use may not be healthy. If you feel this is the case for you, consider contacting Crew2000, your doctor or asking online.
Know your body, know your drug, and know your limits.
Ambulance crews don't call the cops when drugs are involved? Is that true? I'd always heard that dodgier smackheads will take someone out in the street before calling the ambo because the police will turn up at the same time, of course that could be complete bullshit as I have no personal experience.
Nah they don't call the cops. My mate OD'd in our flat, no polis came. Just rather rude Ambulance workers.
i had to help someone with an ambulance who had just started losing his breathe and ability to swallow after a hotrock hits his adams apple, a hotrock of dmt/grass mix, no cops showed for us but they did drive past us, was hard to keep him calm as he said last time it happened was the time he vomited pints of blood for a while so he needed one badly, he got into the ambulance and they ran tests then he was fine to go after a bit, they wanted to just keep an eye on him, he was smoking a 'cigarette'Ambulance crews don't call the cops when drugs are involved? This AH7921 is rather nice, might do a bit more, but need to be up early tomorrow morning to ride my bike to the sorting office and then go to work.
