remember the one that was here? i time that to my addiction to heroin . the cloud cover in brum was perfect for just looking at the sun. we didn't get totality, but the 98 % coverage was very clear to see by actually looking at the sun. it was great. and it did go earily dark for the time of day not pitch black, or near night looking but a bit wierd.. the birs singing n that

I saw one in cornwall once, it was near the same time of year I think as there was a big firework display after.

it would have been the same one. some time around midday middlish? of august 1999. i bet it went really dark by you, almost pitch black. my ex's family all live down there and i remember his sister telling me how dark it had gone... i be t that was something to see... did you get to see the diamond ring?

eclipses are a bit freaky i suppose... think my 1st thoughts of them were the dodgy pictures drawn with pencil and ruler in my physics book, possibly my 1st ever physics lesson.

anyway. see yer man narrating this thing ... are his batteries solar powered, is he trying to prove that or something, ive not been listening to him, just seen yous on about batteries. (soz spelling heroin makes me shut my eyes)
 
his batteries are solar powered yes!!

I don't remember too much about the eclipse other than it being really cool, was clear skies, I was only 12 at the time though, so my memory is a bit shady.
 
not keen on the tuesday blues feeling ive had today, proper cack, delayed comedown or some shit i reckon. just eaten a massive load of healthy food, did some cardio, took some vitamin d tablets
