Gibberings CVI: Check Out My Subaru

:(

A wasp blew into my living room today. It sort of landed on me then buzzed away lazily. I panicked though, as I usually do, and ran out the room slamming the door. I hid in bedroom for a bit then came out to see what was happening.

There was a strong breeze blowing through my living room, under the door and into the hall, where it was actually blowing under the rug, lifting it up off the floor! I watched for bit and I saw something in the air stream, coming under the door, under the rug then out the other side. I thought it might be the wasp but I wasn't sure, it all seemed a bit strange, this wind/rug set up. I forgot about it then later I was washing the dishes and the wasp crawled out from under the drying rack, clearly the worse for the wear. I screamed a bit then slammed it with a newspaper.

I know I'm cruel but I hate wasps! Entertaining to think of it getting blown under the door and through the rug tunnel.

Do you realise you sound like a big, fucking, girl? :D

Running away and hiding in other rooms, panicking, screaming...LOL. Get a grip man! I don't like spiders much and our garden seems to be plagued by them which means they come into the house. I chucked some water onto the stones in the garden the other day and hundreds of them scattered everywhere. There was a fucking massive one in the living room the other day and it was zebra striped. Was freaky.

^^ I was at home with my boyfriend - I'd been diagnosed with gallstones following some abdo pain a month or so ago, so I knew what it was, but the pain was pretty disgusting - threw up on the paramedics (sorry guys!) and had to be carried into the ambulance. Had some gas and air which was actually not bad (not quite as good as a proper balloon, but still pretty fun!) and IV morphine.. turned out it had all got infected so was rushed down for an emergency operation. Pretty disconcerting.. at least it's out now though and I'm really starting to feel a lot better today :) Had some kick-ass bruises on my tummy (which swelled up like a pregnant lady's much to my initial distress haha) but only tiny scars as it was keyhole :)

I can't claim statutory sick pay as I've not been working for the organisation for long enough, but I might be able to get ESA - going to investigate tomorrow, no pay at all is not going to make things easy, I'd only just got back to work :\

Thanks b&w <3

Snolls, no fear of midgets, that was hilarious though :D

Hello Monsta, hope things are treating you well also, evening all :)

Aye I feel you on the wanting to learn a discipline of sorts snolls, used to do Karate a few years but quit in favour of other less rigid hobbies.. Going back to university again in a few weeks and they have kung fu and kickboxing classes, I am sorely tempted to join up again, am sure it would help with things outside of that.

Only read this page, hope your well Effie and make a swift recovery! As for moths they don't bother me, only problem is once they are in a room I can never get them back out the window without a chase. :sus: If I leave them they stay exactly where they are.

While I've mentioned my dislike for all the anonymous shite in the past, this is pretty interesting:

Haven't stopped reading it all through yet. So I could be wrong, but basically they've leaked a load of Apple Device IDs that are supposedly from the FBI. Which makes me wonder why this list exists in the first place? Took this from the Pastebin:

Code:
During the second week of March 2012, a Dell Vostro notebook, used by
Supervisor Special Agent Christopher K. Stangl from FBI Regional Cyber Action
Team and New York FBI Office Evidence Response Team was breached using the
AtomicReferenceArray vulnerability on Java, during the shell session some files
were downloaded from his Desktop folder one of them with the name of
"NCFTA_iOS_devices_intel.csv" turned to be a list of 12,367,232 Apple iOS
devices including Unique Device Identifiers (UDID), user names, name of device,
type of device, Apple Push Notification Service tokens, zipcodes, cellphone
numbers, addresses, etc.

The personal information is supposedly removed (I've no interest in the contents, just on what peoples opinions are of this compared to my own) so I hope this is fine to post. If not, just Google AntiSec Apple and you'll find plenty of links.

Aye haha, I just remember the vague details (something about a cupboard and MDMA and a midget? Going back about six years now) but thinking about it's pure cheered me up :D

Yeah I was thinking the same, uni has a load of stuff like that. I wanted to wait til I've got a bit more in shape but that's just my self confidence talking and I'd forgotten the rush you get from doing stuff like that. Kickboxing sounds like a good 'un, mate used to do it (hence the equipment I've inherited), tho kung fu has that old school kind of appeal to it

Basically the US has been caught putting backdoors, or making companies put them in, into devices and software?

Martial arts are great in my opinion. Just make sure you pick a decent one and find a decent class, there's some that are terrible and follow the whole 'no pain no gain' quote which is a load of shite and leads to being injured. You don't need to be in any particular shape/fitness level to start off and you'll notice a difference fairly quickly. Good for confidence too and if your someone like me who smokes grass pretty much every day it's good to be doing a bit of fitness once a week at least.

I'm just a bit confused as to why they would even want this along with how they have it - still reading this Pastebin though to see. Wondering if it's true as well as the odd time there is stuff like this posted that ends up being completely untrue. Especially as it isn't consistent, some have say just the postcode and the others have full details...seems a bit odd?

Effie that awful, I bet you scared the shit out of everyone. Don't imagine it was particularly pleasant for you either lol. I've never been ill in that respect (ambulance), I went to A&E with a suspected blood clot once but thats about it and that was scary enough. Glad you're feeling better, keep fighting on, you'll get back on an even keel :) You don't seem a giver upper.

They do it because they have to do it. I guess deals are made? It's certainly why the US government is so paranoid about HTC making such big inroads into Europe and America - especially in the public sector.

Sound advice there, especially on the weed thing. Got made to promise last night that I'll cut down my weed smoking cos she's worried about my anxiety and heart palpitations and all that wonderful shit and I cannot say no to a pretty lady so yeah even if I fail at that, working out more has got to be a good thing. Plus stoned exercise is fun as fuck.

Baked beans and wine for breakfast. Not the worst combination ever.
