Gibberings CLXXXVII - Feeling Funky (monkey)

I got a harrassing PM from a certain BLer earlier today requesting my friendship and that bygones be bygones. There aren't any bygones as such - I just don't have much time for this person.

I have specifically asked that this member not get in touch with me, even extending that message to BL friends of hers who tried to persuade me otherwise. So rather than hurl abuse, I reported the PM.

As if by magic, I promptly receive a warning for an admittedly-insulting post which I'd long since deleted.

Coincidence? Or bullshit?

Of course!

That's because your a bad yin whereas I'm an angel ;)

Lets take it to pm or text later. Get it off here...

Forget it, its over for now.

And anyhoo I hope you're moisturising those lovely cheekbones of yours in this cold nipppy weather ;) My cheeks are raw red, I had to slather on coconut oil and it keeps making a mess of my specs!

Afternoon all (<3 panda)

How is eadd today? i have noticed a poster who is usually all over every thread like some sort of disease has been quiet today, no prizes to guess who I'm on about :P

Reported.

Expect your unnecessary official warning soon. Especially if you subsequently delete the post; then expect it a couple of days after. Or maybe that only happens to people who report harrassing PMs.

You behave and drop it or I'll make you clean the litter boxes out.

I'm over it. I just think it's pretty fucking farcical, and part of me loves a good farce. Shame this is a bad one, but oh well. :D

What have we got for tonight?

Cheers Mrs Breakcore, eh Panda =D

The polenta here comes in hard blocks in the supermarkets and it indicates a lot of stirring and stirring sounds like it takes ages to do....should I be looking out for a free flow cornmeal from a Polish deli?

You're goulash sounds a bit like my Italian strew - everything goes in :D

I'll need to export a haggis to you or get breakcore to take one over - for international relations n' whatnot. Have you been to the UK / Ireland yet?

ps: your boy is gorgeous, what a little sweetheart <3

Hehe mrsBreakcore :D

Weird, it comes in that form here. It should be freshly made.

Yes i love Italian cuisine, especially cause it's cooking with loatsa wine of which i am also a huge fan =D Italian, Meditterian, French cuisine, fuck yes.
It's way closer to me than British or Irish kitchen of which i don't know alot, it does includes pork and beans haha, i dislike them. But i do love english baking :)

Yes i've been there hehe :)

He says thankyou kate <3

Thank you MrsBCP =D I've not seen it in that form but will look out for it in our ethnic delis. Thank you for the help. I love cooking Italian and I'm not too bad at French and Indian.

But I love to bake too. Sadie's the best baker here, she was trained professionally. I suppose I'm a typical Scots / Irish cook as that's where my roots are from and both my grandma and mum were cooks for a living.

You mean that terrible breakcore has not treated you to an Aberdeen fillet steak with peppercorn sauce yet? ....tut, tut Or Salmon, langoustines or lobster 8o Or even a pie-roll 8(

On your next visit over tell us and we'll try our best to let you enjoy some national dishes (even if its in my tent kitchen in N. Ireland somewhere cold and windy hehe)

Yes that form is the real deal 'cause in that way you can make it more mushy as you said you'd like that. Just boil milk and slowly add polenta into milk until it gets as thick as you'd like it. you can season it or just eat plain. Add salt and butter some olive oil.
I think being creative is the best thing about baking, Sadie is a lucky girl haha, i could bake all the time.

Hehe thanks i know i should eat more there but we were busy =D he's a bad boy.

I'll need a username change obviously haha.

Welcome home from work Sadie <3

Hope you're feeling bit better now - can you even speak!

What have we got for tonight?

Sometimes you need to get your laughs where you find em';)

So far we have yesterday's Visichoise soup for dinner (it was very good) and a croque-monsieur for the man. I'm on a diet, so just soup for me or I'll throw. NICE =D

So far I have a bag of shite benzos left but my gorgeous blonde sexy GP may just have fulfilled my codeine prescription - ooerr cwe. Then there's a few beers if I fancy. Peach squash with limes too.

Still doing laundry :| And I have just made a pattern for Japanese style slippers, so can work on em'.

What about you?

a croque-monsieur for the man.

Will forever make me visualise a bipedal, genteel crocodilian in evening dress, and will forever raise a schoolboyish guffaw. Told you I never grew up. :D

I have to get back fairly sharpish as the kind woman from the pharmacy who lives across the road from me has offered to deliver my script, which they've fucked up twice in a row. Kinda annoying, as I wouldn't mind nosying round a few old haunts this evening and seeing who I bump into. Oh well.

Soup, cocoa, a smoke and a good book it is. That could change though. Say, if I were to encounter any romantically-lit, albeit damp, red brick walls and willing semi-strangers with green eyes.

So here's the slippers - for winter I'm planning to do the lining in fleece, summer linen or hessian.

I like this set as a gift package, below. The kimono fabric is a bitch to source in the UK, wish I'd brought more back with me, I hardly have anything left from my Japanese trip.

Shammy you still got that paper screen and tray?

Have you not tried one of those boots chemist order n' pick up things yet? It takes a fucking spreadsheet to work the damn things out :\

You never mentioned psychedelics and green eyes don't count unless their red =D

I've been reading Aokigahara (青木ヶ原?), also known as the Suicide Forest or Sea of Trees (樹海 Jukai?), cheery stuff :D Just moved onto The Complete Manual of Suicide (完全自殺マニュアル Kanzen Jisatsu Manyuaru. It's a Japanese book written by Wataru Tsurumi. He usually writes on the problem of the “hardness of living” in Japanese society. Don Luigi might like these books too, he likes Japanese lit.

Of course the trees outside our home are far too high up for me, I'd need a hand 8( Though the river's not far n' fucking freezing.

On the very, very, very slim (non-existent, actually) chance that said girl with green eyes is waiting to ambush me, there'll be no psychedelics for either of us. Can't have 'em, don't need 'em. I'll just stare at her, and she at me, and that'll be more than enough. Even under suburban sodium light. The windows of Withington and Didsbury shall begin to flicker, and the cats shall wonder what on earth's going on.

As for the script, the agony continues. No 200mg Priadel still, which means either the pharmacy forgot to order the script, or Lloyds Pharmacies' Northwest warehouse isn't as well stocked as your average community pharmacy in Zambia. Still, I'm getting it dropped off, so can't complain.
