Gibberings CLXXXVII - Feeling Funky (monkey)

Are admin letting members deactivate their accounts now? With them letting marmalade deactivate her account. Is it now for all members?

Evey

Simple answer if No

However there is always room to give consideration to exceptional circumstances, the details of what happened to that members account isnt my business

Morning englandz, it's been a while how goes it ? apart from the Bad night

Morning Allein, not bad mate. Well that other than an unbelievably horrific call out at work last week that was the cause of the aforementioned nightmare.
On the positive side I'm on a course for the next month 4 days a week and only have to do "proper work" on Fridays.

Still battling this fucking methadone. Keep getting to about day 5 or 6 then having to take some as the wds become intollerable. Although my doctor last last week and effectively cut me off until I find a new one so the matter maybe out of my hands :(

How are you?

Sounds rough with the green stuff, aside from being able to get it on script (I appreciate this isnt a small thing) it seem inferior to Heroin in almost every aspect, crazy world.

I'm doing OK, I'm off my scripted morphine now which wasnt as bad as I thought it might be and the results of my last operation are starting to take shape, my walking os much improved so I need to start getting things back to normal

The Dreams I have had about Bluelight have all been very boring, also dreams with Bluelighters in you've ever met is odd but can turn into a nightmare. :)

I find that if I've had a really bas nightmare I have to get up, get out of bed completely, have a frantic puff of my e-cig, read a few pages of a book THEN try to get back to sleep. Kind of just to convince my mind it was a nightmare. Usually I don't have nightmares about horrible ahit that happens at work but this week was an exception.....as it was exceptionally fucked up.

I get the pills scripted from a pain clinic so have never had to ensure the pleasures of drinking gallons of the green shit. That's great news that you're getting hp and about and off your scripted morphine (zomorph or MST?).

If a pain clinic or any other doctor ever offer you physeptone (methadone) tablets run a mile!!..makes morphine look like smarties I terms of the difficulty in getting off the shit.

Are you working ATM or on the sick?

EDIT...sorry for double post....please don't ban me!!.....or on second thought please DO!! haha!!! :)

I was on about 90mg of Zoromorph daily, sometimes more. I'm not really sure how significant a dose that is I was on pain meds for 3 years straight but managed to keep the dosage under some control. My GP dealt with the meds and recommended Morphine SR, I couldnt take Tramadol at the time due to other medication but he had a very low opinion of it, I guess you know where you stand with morphine.

I'm working full time and have done for nearly 30 years, I managed to work from home during periods where I ws incapacitated by the accident or the following ops, it wasnt ideal but ot was enough to keep the job and keep getting paid. My work is largely office bound so once I could drive an auto car I could make it in.

90mg day of morphine SR is a fairly moderate dose (well moderate to low actually if you've been on I a while). Usual practice is to top that up with IR morphine (oramorph) for breakthrough pain but many doctors see this practice as outdated and would rather just raise the levels of the main opiate to satisfactory levels. Still excellent work in coming off it, I think having someone manage your pills is a great help (wish I had someone to manage mine)..

That's cool you could work from home. This "agile working" business seems to be all the rage nowadays and with gateway software and a broadband connection and a mobile its sometimes just as was as being in the office. A small part of my work is done in an office from time to time...mainly around patient safety and clinical investigation but I'm not a big fan of office work. I was an accountant for 10 years before I got into my current job and I HATED it!!....it just wasn't for me as I found I got no nob satisfaction from I and found I mind numbingly dull. However just as we are all individuals, the jobs we enjoy the most are going to vary from one person to another too.

Glad your on the mend mate :)

Evey,

You need to clear out your PM box. And hurry!!!! I'm 8 min late and still to straighten my hair and finish my mascara!!!! HURRY GIRL!!!

Get an RC helicopter, hours of fun AND pain!

Morning people we good? Magically not hungover after half a 50cl bottle of whiskey and half a 50cl bottle of tequila. Weirdly happy actually. Bet it kicks me in the face later.
