You're DUTCH! <3 My oldest spend a few years over there in Uden, near Eindhoven working and getting into cycling on a flat landscape. I loved it for my boy, it had a good quality of life feel, nice family company, lovely if abrupt sounding folk, clean place, really pretty, product of 70's hippy liberal planners etc ....but he got homesick and came home to Glasgow!!! 8(

Now he complains of the cold and hills 8)

I'm glad he's home of course xxx

Its this stupid phone....they come through as smily faces on my screen but when people quote me the come through as stupid black ? marks.....

When you see my posts are they all like that?

I always thought it looked like a lump of hash, too.

I'm just back from a wee drive up the mountain. My mate picked me up so we could go out with our binoculars to try and get a glimpse of this Asteroid 2004 BL86. The patch of sky was clear up until it was supposed to be well visible above the horizon, then it started pishing down and it got covered up.

We did get a good clear look at some other stuff though. I definitely need to buy a new telescope as I've really missed it.

Any budding amateur astronomers on here?

I've never actually been lucky enough to trip somewhere with very clear skies and low light pollution. It's amazing enough to look at an average night sky while tripping, but I think my head would start to leak if I got perfect conditions :D

From your location, the Western isles aren't far, get to Arran in shroom season and doss in the kings caves where Robert the Bruce saw the spider, magic.
