Hi back. I was actually up in Glasgow too. The DIY draughtproofing job went perfectly, thanks. :D Managed to turn a wind tunnel into a hermetically sealed hallway, so I think step-offspring is happy. Fitted a spy-hole, letterbox draught excluder, fuzzy floor catcher, and about 10 metres worth of sticky foam stuff round the door. Good afternoon's work. %)

I will give a tentative kiss to the snuffleupagus but she's asleep. ;) Burns supper was lovely, ta. Hope yours was OK.

I'm off to read my book. G'night folks. :)

I celebrated burns night much in the same way I celebrated Thanksgiving. Non-existent......

Please do pass on my hugs. Also, take that boy of mine aside one day to teach him manyly things. I know I'm a tom boy as does he but C'mon, I'm still girly

Just had a sleep. It's still only 4:30 am n its pharmacy day tomorrow, mile walk n back :D.

My service thinks I'm on 6 mg but I take 4 mg. It find it nice n comforting to have a mountain of subies. Before it gets mentioned - my addictive service gave me a pink money box thing (like you keep shop float in) with a key.

I've got to get decorating today. There's been a half wall papered room for about a month... Its such a challenging pattern though..you know the kind where you have to match up the design? And I've been in a mentalist mode... went mute with the horror...long story and anyway its gone and feeling tired but generally mentally hunky dory or at least hunky dorier.

What does everyone else have planned?
 
I'm off to the docs to get some more painkillers and find out if my leaky midline incision needs stitching. :/
 
awwww how are you feeling Josh??? Hope you're feeling better, you sound better but that doesn't mean you are. How are you doing??

Proctocolectomy 10 days ago. Got another incision round the other side which is doing ok, thought that one would be the problem tbh.

I left the hospital with a box of 30mg codeine but have used most of them now, so more of the same or better will be requested, and they should give me what I want :)
 
was it key hole surgery. If so I know that's really sore and takes a while to recover from.

I imagine you know they're habit forming Josh. I may have a tram dragon to slay imminently...Its weird though the first time I got addicted it was horrific coming off.. second time was a piece of cake..like I was totally carried through the ordeal.


Maybe sometimes our fears about withdrawals are self fulfilling prophesies.
