I'm now remembering! I didn't speak to Robydoo on MSN at all. Did you start hanging out with miss cherry? I used to talk to her a lot and I think it must have been her that mentioned it. I definitely spoke to you in a group conversation on MSN a few years ago.

The willingness of mods to criticise the actions of other mods has always been sadly lacking here, it's one big circle jerk on the whole.

Yes she and I were very close. Still are but life gets in the way. She's still like a sister to me but we're both having to deal with life at the moment. Never a fun thing. Yeah, you and I spoke on several occasions. Mostly via PM.

Oh there's certainly plenty of circlejerkery and reacharoundism amongst staff but there's also plenty of pretty fierce debate. Given your time on staff was really rather a long time ago is it really beyond the realms of conceivability that things may have changed a bit since then and perhaps you are simply talking from the lower orifice? I know how much it's changed since I was first on staff let alone since you were.

Yeah I know things were shit when I last spoke to her. I lost contact due to MSN closing, losing my phone, and deleting FB.

I kind of had to remove myself from here for a while just to sort my head out. When you're surrounded by drug talk, it can make it harder to stop using them. My head was a mess and a lot of people on here were getting it tight; it didn't help with ironing out my own creases. There were also a quick succession of very unfortunate passings (both here and in my physical life) that brought some things to the forefront.

I seem to have replaced drugs with pets haha. Although, with the rats and snakes, it looks like I'm subconsciously trying to repel women (not that any extra effort is needed :D).

Sometimes these things need sorted. BTW! My family always had snakes and I loved my many many rats. I can't keep them anymore as they die so quickly and it hurts to lose a beloved pet. I've not had rats in a few years. Too many tears.

Glad to see there's some hope then (other than that strange girl at Pets At Home who REALLY loves her Boa..she is becoming incrementally more attractive to me each time I shop though :p).

My rats aren't even a year old yet so the only tears I've shed are due to allergies. I got them back in May so I thought it was just a bad hay fever year. There is a slight conflict of conscience when I'm playing with the little critters one minute, then thawing one out to feed to one of the snakes :\

Mine usually only lived 2/3 years. Lovely little things though. I did love my fluffy lovely rats. Very much so!!! Though they do piss all over the place!!! 8o

Lol no the circlejerkery and refusal to listen to logic over and above the actions of fellow staff is still alive and well for sure.
 
I have two females so there's not too much pissing out of the cage. They haven't defecated when out of the cage since they were little squirts either.

I used to breed mice and hamsters when I was a wean for a bit of pocket money. I remember my first mouse dying in my hands the night before I did my 11+ exam and me crying my eyes out. My mammy was even trying to give it CPR :)

Nah, both genders pee when on the move. Nothing worse than playing with your pets then seeing a trail of wee. you think. GROSSS!!!! Such is rat life.

I know. I said that in the first sentence of what you quoted...

You know that staff are verboten from discussing what is said in staff forums but I can tell you your view is overly pessimistic. Whether you choose to believe that or not is entirely up to you of course.
