Gibberings CLXXXIII - Christmas Trees are for presents, not masturbating under. IMO..

Was gonna write the town i live in but i'm feeling a lil bit para. so 7 miles from exeter it is

init.

It's not Crediton is it? I lived there for a bit last year, I think that's about 7 miles away from Exeter.

Yeah it's Crediton. what did you think of it? a few people i know moan about it, i reckon its alright, could be loads worse, pretty dull for nights out though & drunken drama bullshit so end up going to exeter

I only went in the 'spoons once in the whole time I was living there, for an afternoon sesh on my birthday (I didn't actually make one single friend whilst living there and my slack friends won't travel that far West very often!). I never went in any other pubs, although I was always curious about the Three Little Pigs. I'm not much of a drinker these days. We go to the Lamb in Sandford loads though, despite it not really being my parents' local, decent food and you can get a decent pint of (o')Hanlons ale or Sandford Orchards Shaky Bridge cider. It was recently voted second best pub in the country too :)

I was working as a freelancer at the time so was able to choose my hours to an extent. I really loved getting up each morning and strolling down the high street, buying local produce from the butchers, the cheese shop is awesome too. Didn't think much of the choice of greengrocers and I bake my own bread. Everything else came from the Greenhouse, that little pretentious organic food shop on the Square, but I didn't go in the Tesco once the whole time I lived there, which pleased me.

Also, I paid £450 a month for a massive flat, really nice quiet location set back from the road on the western edge of the town (so you can probably guess where :p ), damn sight better than my £900 shoebox in London! It's pretty easy to get in to Exeter on the train and then on to other places in the country too.

To be honest, if it wasn't for my job (or I thought that freelancing longterm wouldn't cause me to go insane from loneliness or die of a drug overdose) requiring me to live somewhere a but more urban, I'd move back there tomorrow!

Consultancy must be the way to go, I interviewed one today from something I'm working on £580 a day and that's cheap for what I've paid to others recently. I guess the work and pay isnt guaranteed though but having spent time this year working from home I think I could make it work.

Anyhow evening all :)

Wicked, glad you liked it so much! Yeah the sandford pub is highly rated, haven't been out there for ages, might pop out again sometime. Nice walk out there during the summer. & yeah its nice having a stroll down through the high street. Mum works in one of the butchers shops. & yeah i know the western flats. Used to start most nights in potters with a few pints and a hoof on pre ban meph, then head up to spoons, then a few other pubs then bus to exeter

Good evening Allein :)

Dan whats the plan fo friday thats got you excited? :)

Nothing special, lil house party at mates house, hows everything going kingme you got anything planned for this weekend

Yup. Massive plans involving furiniture. Some i plan to bin, some to rearange and some to get new. All under the guiding gaze of my miss... :p

Where do you throw away a bed???

Morning(ish) all. Got woken up this morning by a man outside my bedroom door saying that the dog probably only likes him because she can smell his ferret. Only in Devon eh.
Hee no.. I say that fairly often and I live in t'big city.

We're having a fuddle at work today. I spent most of yesterday afternoon and evening cooking up my contributions. My Partner-in-Crime also helped a little, so deserves a special mention of her own. Big love to Jess <3

If anyone else is doing anything similar, greetings to you too. And to everyone watching through green eyes: Come and join us!
