Exeter is the nearest big town, but basically the middle of nowhere (the sort of place where you'd find ferret owners). It's my folks' place, I'm just back for more surgery, since I had the first ones here and want the continuity of care.

Are you also from these parts? :)

FUckin hope my package arrive tomorrow, Xmas gift for my mom, and am going home where im from tomorrow until january the 5. Fuckin hell so slow shipping, normally would take 2-3 days max. Ordered sunday 8(

My boys 2nd birthday today so I'm racing home from work to get this party started =D I went round and woke him up this morning before work to see him open his presents, lovely.. I'm biased but he's cool as fuck... ;)

I have been using MXE though, its helped alot with the withdrawls to begin with and has also helped with any cravings that have come along. Seems to do a really good job of focussing me and knocking any want to use out of my head.

Ive just been taking 20mg doses whenever ive felt the urge, apart from a couple of evenings when i pushed the dose and lost the plot.. Be a shame when its gone and banned :(

Congrats SM, it sounds like you're doing really well and seem to be in good spirits too. That must be the most difficult part, once you've made it through the worst and most difficult physical parts. Slip ups are par for the course from what i gather, but it's only one step back/set back, before you can move forwards again. I think that was the message they were trying to tell us in a CBT group i attended sometimes.

I think Russel Brand said that the 'price to pay (for abstainance) is constant vigilance' as you never know when the urge is gonna hit you, and attending lots of meetings and groups to try to help prevent relapsing if you do get cravings. I dont mean to sound discouraging, thats the last thing i mean, what i mean to say is that it would be a shame to relapse now that you've done the hard part.

As ive not been through H wds myself id better shut up before i make a complete fool out of myself and insult or offend or annoy someone. :o

Tbh the last 10 years of my addiction have been so miniscule in regards actual heroin being used the withdrawals have never been that hard, it's the mental side I struggle with, I've always just felt I've had to have it no matter how small.. That's the hardest part for me to break, the rituals and doing...

Fag break over... back to the party :)
