Gibberings CLXXXI - Is it Christmas yet?

MM is fine.. he's given up on this place but has set up his own business and things seem to be going well for him lately. :)
 
Good to hear MM is doing well.

I would have paid to have my surreptitious packages delivered by a postie who was stimmed up & knew what I was getting. A sly wink as he handed over the package... :D

Often wonder if my postie had any inkling what was in my packages, I certainly answered the door once or twice having been awake all night & looking like I'd been dragged through a hedge backwards.

Same, but that's my usual state anyway so I'm not sure how much of a giveaway it is ;)

I am exhausted for some reason, had some very odd dreams and woke up at 7 with my stomach feeling like it was being ripped open.

I don't know either, if the postman doesn't turn up soon I'm going back to bed.
 
Our postie doesn't turn up until nearly 3pm if he does. Really pleased to here MM has moved on in a good way, great guy like him deserves good karma.

So how long now until we know about the new mods? :p

No. It put me off normal posting for an age. I don't think a 3rd go would do any of us any good :| Tbh the staff nudie thread... that whole forum used to scare the shit out me 8( Very u.s. of a.

I'm too twee, parochial. It's not my thing. Where as organisational and community interest structures are of interest, but alas there's no career pathway at BL for those kinda skills.

How is your day panning out apart from the irritation?
 
I wish I had timeframes, but who knows! :D

My guess is within the next few days to week, would be a similar timeframe to what happened with me & Allein.

I think you've probably survived EADD enough times by now, eh? ;) (and other places it seems!)

My day is panning out very well... got my old copy of Microsoft Office sorted out... turns out my free trial was a subscription version so I couldn't use my key with it. Had to download it again. (I know, open office... why pay... but I do.)

I'm sure there was something else productive I got down this morning but I can't for the life of me remember what!! It'll come back to me at some point later when it's no longer relevant. Turning old long before my time...

And your day?

i once answered the door to the postie, not realising that my upper lip/moustache was encrusted from the drip of having been snorting pentedrone all night. :o How extremely embarrasing. I dont think he noticed, either that or he's the politest most discreet postman ever. I really like the guy, he even helped me fix my car wing mirror once after some yobs had smashed it off, im sure he suspects some of my packages contain legal highs, but he doesnt judge.
 
Just phoned the agency that got me my last job enquiring about the possibilty of future jobs. There was no outright 'get tae fuck', just a non comittal 'send us a revised cv and we'll have a look'. That'll give me something to do over the weekend, despite the housework that continues to pile up. I need to sort that as i currently dont know where my driving licence is. That could prove very awkward if i suddenly get asked to produce it.

Ah, I will admit to liking Office myself, its what I work with, that and IMB's lotus notes. Bit slutty of me as at home I'm frog matched into the land of Linux. Sometimes I like my Cinnamon Mint, but mostly I hate it apart from browsing, its ok for that but generally too boyish n' geeky for me. But hey ho I get worse - I <3 apple :D

Sure you'll get your meds sorted out Monday. I have an online prescription service, but I have to be on the ball with it. I've got 3 meds on the go all of which are prescribed at different times 8( Cocktail indeed. Doc put me on the 3rd one about month / 6 weeks back and its played havoc with the other 2..

Can't believe your 27, you seem from what I read here to have an older head on your shoulders.

I'm pretty flat but for now that is an actual improvement %) Trying to get any motivation going for anything is impossible. Trying to be patient to get over this hump / lump lol. Hate it :|

I thought you were on top of the dishes routine?

That sounds positive though, with a bit of hunting I'm sure the driving license will turn up. x
 
well sort of, i have reduced things down to the bare minimum now, so that even if everything gets used its not going to be much more than 15 minutes work to get it all cleared. This is far more managable than having mountains of dirty plates, pans, and dishes cluttering every workspace and oveflowing onto the floor.
