What kind of music was it out of interest?

Me and Mr InflO having a few very reserved mepth sesh....yes weak weak...weak..we have just been having a listen to some of the obscure bands that were up for the mercury award and discussing paint colours and a few possibilities for new purchases ...sounds dull but really rather lovely...
 
He did yes, naturally i dropped to dots at home before we set out, he declined and said i was mental:? He had a bomb of MD.. Get to the club, i drop some MD, half an or so later he can see how much fun im having so he drops the acid to =D The rest was just movements and sounds... real happy good vibe in there.

Twas Liquidy drum and bass, which can attract some particularly bad attitudes but everyone seemed happy and on it..
 
Sounds like we had similar nights, Mistywoo! Been dancing from 9pm to 5am. Aphrodite was amazing but I think my feet are going to fall off now. :|

Seems a fair few have had some good times partaking last night. I had a good time last night too, fast asleep in my bed! :D

Rather wish I could be partaking myself but sobriety it is for now.

it seems the best parties i go to are the ones that are totally unplanned, and, conversely, the more i plan something the more uninteresting it is...
 
I think I'd have to agree with that... spontaneity makes things much more interesting. I think sometimes the anticipation just rises your expectations so much that a planned night often doesn't turn out to be as good as you thought it would.

On the dream front... I had some really strange & long dreams a couple of nights ago, really surreal stuff that seemed to last hours. Actually had a lucid dream recently too where I managed to venture around for a while, but the second I decided to try and fly... I woke up unfortunately.
 
Not jealous of your long strange dreams. These non-dreams in this non-sleep caused by amitriptyline are plenty strange. I feel drained when I wake up. This stuff is far too sedating for me. With antichlorinergic plus antihistaminergic action that feels as zombie-ish as a neuroleptic, and no added spring in the step. Hohum.
 
How much amitriptyline are you taking Lurch ? it doesnt seem to sedate me at all and I tend to get weird dreams if I've missed a dose
 
aye, good dreams were had. semiconscious too, in that i kept recognizing places in real life but then they were also mixed with the fantastic... say my workplace being the same, but actually located on a reed ship, sailing among tumultuous waters by what looked to be rocky islands looking for some sort of treasure...

today is dinner with the family. out to town no less. steak will be had. cocktails will be drank. im sorry but im getting too old to drink too much and i prefer my cocktails girly...

I'm taking only 50mg a day. Will get my (ami) level tested later this week, I'm v sensitive to certain meds (codeine is one) so there might be some enzyme polymorphism going on.
What else happens when you miss a dose? No particularily bad withdrawal?
 
Nope I havent found TCAs cause much in the way of withdrawal discontinuation syndrome even if you CT them, not that I'm recommending anyone do so.

Having come off long term Venlafaxine I've some perspective, that was fukin awful, with full on brain zaps every 4-5 mins for 6 weeks and an very disconcerting echo chamber effect that seemed to switch on without warning.

I was so fucking drunk yesterday. Apologies to anybody who saw my cock. :|

Switching to Guinness was a great idea, except I just carried on at the scotch, passed out, woke around nine, finished the little booze there was to be had, washing a few benzos down with it to make sure I wouldn't feel quite as shite this morning as I did then. What a Saturday night, eh?

It worked, and I made the effort of walking into Withington to buy incense and soup, but that's as far as I feel like going. I forgot that alcohol can turn your Sundays into a mopefest.

So I bought a couple of Guinness.

Whisky & Guinness is a deadly combination in my experience... the first time I tried Guinness, I'd drank 6-7 pint of Fosters, had a whisky... felt absolutely fine all things considered, not that wasted... and then came the fateful decision to try a half of Guinness.

God, I went from being coherent, if tipsy, to off my face. On the way home the taxi driver had to pull over so I could be sick, right beside a busy night club queue I might add. Had a few shouts of "Come on son! Get it out..." Good night, but I've never taken to Guinness... :D

Much prefer Belhaven Best if I want something darker.
 
They''ve just started selling Belhaven 80/ in a local supermarket round my way. You can't easily get the Belhaven beers here.

I was pretty knackered all yesterday too, which didn't help. I think I'm going to finish this Guinness, have some more soup and then lie down for a bit. Can't even be bothered going out to watch the Manchester Derby.

is it getting dark early yeah. Don't like it. On the other hand methoxphenidine is keeping me sane (or is it insane) at the moment. Stuff is weird, somtimes it doesnt do much for me, sometimes makes me feel like im on the brink of sanity ala 3-meo-pcp. Eating it with a spoon is probablty not ideal but I don't want to have scales in my possession.
