Gibberings CLXXII - I Have Zero Imagination

Yeah, saving the benzo before bed helps. Though you're right about the danger of a semi-conscious blackout if you do so.

If you're somebody who frequently gets up to piss in the night (as I am, but certainly more so with booze in the mix) then be prepared for unexplained bruises, broken things and people commenting on the fact you walked down the communal stairs naked, apparently without a care in the world.

One major advantage of living alone. On the flip side you're far more likely to bounce off stuff, crack your head and do yourself a nasty with nobody around to spot it. Swings/roundabouts. At least in the shared house situation there's a comedy ending.

Hahahaha yea shamz lets hope so, eh. Aint seen you around lately. Hopefully things are ok with you xxxx

Not so bad actually thanks, Evey. Had some technical issues (actually still have some technical issues) but am a bit more present than I have been these last few weeks.

That's ace. I've had the odd lurk n it's lovely to see Aeadd Getting along n all drama-free. It seems a lot like it was several months ago. It's nice n looking forward to getting to know some of the older members who have reappeared here. I've also bumped up some old threads. Glad your technical issues are sorted.

Also heard you, Dan, swampy n inflo met. Good for you all. Hope you enjoyed yourselves xxx

I don't think I could do the whole benzo in the morning thing. Last week I had a quarter (yes, a quarter) of a pyrazolam pill before a particularly nasty meeting. Could hardly keep my eyes open for the next 8 hours. Could still feel it at bed time, some 12 hours later.

I had 1mg etiz before work recently and it definitely affected my mobility, I thought it would be fine but it was harder to cover up than I thought it would be. Made the shift go quicker though.

The 1500mg of codeine daily may have contributed.

Similar situation to heroin addicts using benzos. Yes you do become accustomed but doesn't mean they're not interacting - you just don't notice it as much as those around you do.

It's a fair point about benzo-based hangover 'cures' if you have to be at work though. Not all benzos are sedating - probably why diaz is the most popular for morning afters (at least as far as I'm aware).

We did indeed and we did indeed. Fine folk to a manwoman <3

Baking pies for Pi Day? (Look at the date .....)

I've already done three steak and ale pies and one blind, which will eventually be Quorn and Mushroom. Now after all that slaving over a hot stove, I think it's time I went and got baked myself .....
