Credit cards are terrible in the wrong hands. Unless you can clear the balance every month cut the fuckers up or give them to a family member you trust in case of emergency.

Morning to anyone who's up. Well as I said getting fit Monday so no more alcohol. I just got to find a way of not craving / wanting the stuff. Buying bottles of wine when £1300 in my overdraft n owing a massive credit bill isn't good. And convincing myself "oh ive put £100 back on my credit card so surely it's ok."

Time to get my stuff together. No more spending money on crap, and I'm talking rubbish for the sake of spending money to feel in control. It all has to stop today!

So please wish me luck people this isn't going to be easy n if you could all please do me a favour? If you see me drinking please ignore me because I hate being ignored so hopeful it will encourage not not to do it.

If im on 12 mg of subs I don 't need / crave alcohol, believe it or not but have a lot of nasty side affects. I know its an opiate blocker but it stops me wanting alcohol.

If i give in ONCE this week I'm cutting my cards up , going to be over my overdraft AGAIN for the next fortnight n its no ones fault but my own cause I bought some dresses n stuff. Arrgggggg

Credit union wont give me a loan they rejected it. I'll sort it. It's nothing like Sammy. Yes I buy a lot of smaller size clothes but only because i think it will encourage me to look weight.

I've an addictive personality that's all.

To be fair the bank did extend my overdraft by £250 but i had 3 hours of my sleeve done thinking if i got that over with, I'd have less to sort, bought myself an exercise package n a few other bits n bobs n ended up back over it. Stupid I know.

But I feel empty n out of control if im not spending or obsessing over something.

I would speak to the CAB about your debts EVEY, try and get them consolidated to one place that offers the lowest interest rates and other charges and work out a repaymnet schedule. Overdrafts and credit cards are the worst places to hold lomg term depts on as they charge the highest interest rates and other fees. I guess you are lucky that you dont smoke at least, that could easily be adding another £200 a month to your outgoings. I know its much easier said than done, but try to spend only on essentials as much as possible, with just the occasional treat item, as life will just be too fucking grim if you never get any treats ever. Maybe its easier for a bloke to say, but spending on clothes etc when hugely in dept is just a massive NONO imo. Sometimes spending on treats does lift your mood but try to keep the items as low value as possible.
 
Buying bottles of wine isn't the kind of irrational spending spree I go on, TES. That's just buying bottles of wine. Silly if you're in debt, yes, but still it's just buying bottles of wine.

Spending three-figure sums in a 'vintage' (i.e. second-hand) 'boutique' buying tight t-shirts that say 'HOPPY'S LOUNGE' on them, along with a picture of a frog - now that's a bipolar spending spree.

Although I do look damn good in my Hoppy's Lounge tee, even if nobody could be arsed to comment on the pic. :D
 
It was a typically soft focus / overexposed kind of affair, but I do have naturally very pale skin. With freckles though, so I don't look quite as pasty as the photo might have led you to believe.

I can't get much sun without burning up like a ginger.

Refer to my reply to Dan - it wasn't £100! It was about £15 at most.

As for the heroin, I'm not entirely sure why you've brought that up, save for maybe connecting it with my spending sprees and joining the obvious dots.

I'll agree that self-medicating is a factor with bipolar, and can be a real warning sign, but if you consider that I've made it through the past eight months or so with some massive upheavals (getting used to meds, renewed contact with close relative, death of relative) without resorting to anything more than weed - and in fact giving up alcohol in the process - then you might argue that I'm due a bit of fun, just like anybody else.

Bipolar people can take drugs without it necessarily being a problem, y'know? In any case, I'm getting my meds renewed and probably increased, so I know that I need to be vigilant. I just like a bit of smack every now and then.
