Gibberings CLXX: Cocks will get blocked.

Anyone got a link to that brimz vid?

Fucking lol is all ive gotta say to to that.

just scroll back through the last through pages of the previous gibberings thread. Yeah Raas may be creative, opinionated, and controversial, but depends how you measure most intelligent; for me BabylonBoy was/is incredibly intelligent and well informed about all manner of things, lest we not also forget Amanatidine, SHM, Shambles, Sammy G, and Knock.

I dont 'know' anyone in ADD but suspect they are a bunch of annoyingly high brow super bods. It seems you wont get a reply in there unless you have a Phd in neuro-chemistry.

I'm pretty sure it's not possible to gauge the true level of someone's intelligence from the random posts they make on an internet forum.

Show me a piece of writing of 2000+ words that they have done on a subject and maybe you can get a better idea.

I can hardly hear it. Does anyone know how to turn volume up on my laptop as it's always so low.

The Brimz video was much better than this.

I just gave the links to the Brimz vid

Evey

What windows you running? "Sound and audio device" settings should have volume controls

Still got XP, cant be assed to change it to anything else

You need to watch more films then. Theres plenty that come close/surpass it

It was awesome and mind blowing at the time, i agree that there have been better films made since. Films have come such a long way in the last 15 years or so in so many ways, the realism and effects and stunts and stuff keep getting better and better.

Agreed, its a wicked film. how good anything is is subjective anyway. its one my fave films but ive seen so many id never be able to pick a fave

This is exactly what is ruining films in my eyes. Whatever happened to simple strong characterisation, good cinematography, good soundtracks, good mis en scene and a plot?

I know what you mean, i cant stand the mission impossible films for example, allthough the stunts are amazing, the films are just fucking ludicrous, all style over substance. But well done action sequences can form part of great films, take my favourite violent films over the last decade for example, like Eastern Promises, A History Of Violence, Taken, and Man On Fire. Movie violence and car chase sequences have never been more satisfyingly realistic and brutal. Then there's the more character driven stuff like The Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile and Ray. Films have come so far that films i used to love, like Escape From Alcatraz just seem really 'old hat' these days, though i enjoyed that film probably at least 10 times before becoming jaded by it, due to it becoming outclassed by the next generation.

Me neither. first bourne film is much better, only got around to seeing that a few months ago. was surprised at how good it is, quality. probs one of the best car chases in a film asides bullet and a few others, reminds me of Ronin

Paris Police Chase Scene - The Bourne Identity (2002).avi-

The Matrix was an absolutely brilliant film when u came out, it's also aged really badly, a lot of it seems like a bit of a joke these days.

(and I even liked the other two films when they came out...)

I can't stand the Matrix movies. I'm no movie buff by any stretch, but some of my current favourites are Pan's Labyrinth, Green Mile (enjoyed it even more than the book), Pulp Fiction and a multitude of 90s B-grade horrors.

Yeah me too. I can only really watch movies once, so the above list should perhaps be "movies I watched recently that I enjoyed more than other movies I watched recently". Not as catchy though, eh?
