I find it ironic that a harm reduction site is mourning the death of the guy that wrote "Phenethylamines and Tryptamines I Have Known And Loved..." which are pretty much cook-books on how to make potentially harmful illegal drugs.

I guess harm reduction is only the façade of bluelight, at it's heart this site is a promotion and celebration of drug taking.

Ahh I'm alright, just tired. I talk some shit when I've been drinking though haha, weird, I'm such a cheery little thing really. Like a garden gnome without the beard.

Hope everyone else is having a good one too. I'm watching old Dexter's and looking forward to clubbing tomorrow :D <3

It's a harm reduction site,

There was a piss poor feature on the BBCs One Show last night about legal highs and research chemicals, the presenter said finding out about the substances was as impossible as unearthing a genuine pirates cutlas; a particularly bizzare example :sus:

Then they went on to say that MPA is essentially the same thing as methamphetamine. I can see a sudden spike in MPA sales now, and a ban looming next thanks to that. Not that i particularly give a shit, i dont think there's much love lost for this substance in general, i only ever bought 1g, and i was so dissappointed and ill that i flushed it after a few lines.

I guess they obviously never discovered BL, which does at least advise on tried and tested dose ranges and ROAs and things like that, all internet forums advise against buying head shop brand name products as you dont know wtf is in them and to get the pure ingredient direct from a 'reputable' online vendor, it's not perfect, but its better than the alternative of poor One Show features and sensationalist Daily Mail headlines. I can see it now "Chrystal Methamphetamine like substance Epidemic set to Devestate Britain, Legally and Easily Available in your Local High Street" :X

Really???? Is that why most of EADD were annoyed at me for not knowing who he was?
I honesty didn't know and was asking questions to not be an ignoramus and seem to really offend people.
Was honestly never the intention.
I love this site and all the help its given me.

Dunno about Shulgin but i think the more annoying thing was the fact you asking what a legal high is

I think people, myself included, don't really expect to find someone on this site who isn't a recreational drug user & it would be more than a bit ignorant of a recreational drug user (particularly one who researches their drugs online) to never to have heard of Shulgin.

You're not really a recreational drug user though, so it's fair enough.

Well the point is, Shulgin isn't really a figure for harm reduction. With all the drugs he's invented and books with recipes on them, he's probably done more harm than good. Bluelight comes across as prominently interested in being a proponent for recreational drug use than a harm reduction site.

Not saying that's right or wrong, just how I see it. I'm no Shulgin expert however, so if you think I'm wrong please correct my understanding.

This is a drug information site, is it not?
I had someone from my recovery group, talking about them and Facebook - and so I came here asking what they are.
I asked Snolly after and she never had an issue with it and answered my question in a perfect mature manner.
I would assume that people, NOT asking questions would be an issue would it not????

You forget that I've only had a codeine addiction - and apart from alcohol, codeine and suboxone I've never taken any recreational drugs - so my questions was quite a reasonable one.
