That's great, I'm jealous, I've always wished that I could play an instrument but I've always been too lazy :P I used to play the saxophone though haha, gave it up tho because I got fed up lugging the fucking massive case to school all the time.

I saw RHCP at Knebworth Park (where they have Sonisphere) and it absolutely pissed down with rain of course. They had Dizzy Rascal as support which I wasn't too impressed with, I never actually know the support bands anyway tho.

Kiedis is a cool guy, his autobiography is good anyway, I must've read it like 20 times. Crazy life :P

Mr Bungle still piddle from a great height over RHCP... and I fukkin <3 RHCP. He just does it better - well enough to know exactly how to stick the knife in and make 'em look like fukkin morons (which they are - fun, but morons). Rise above, rise above. Appreciate the base, doubly appreciate the bass, but know what is weak and what is strong. RHCP are the former - gloriously so - but they are weak. Funky as fuck but weak. Funk goes deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep and that is the bit they miss.

Which makes it sound like I have issues with RHCP. I don't. One of my faves. But if you can't see the inherent weakness within their spiel you are missing out on the glory that exists outside of their shallowness.

I <3 that album like I'd <3 my own children. They are self-aware enough to see their own failings. That's what makes 'em good. Not their generic album shite.
 
I've read that loads too..... When I had my codeine addiction I read his book to feed my addiction seriously.... This is gna make me sound a COMPLETE FREAK but I would literally read every book on addiction to trigger myself and make myself WANT codeine more... it feed my obsession and my self-destructive attributes. I'd literally down like 10, 60 mg tabs of codeine, some linctus etc read some more books, painkiller addict, something about some Leanne on Heron "Dying to Survive" or summit, lots of co-dependency and would feed off on it and would fuel my addiction to use and put as much of the bloody stuff in me as I could possible do.

OK warned ya I was a freak lol

^ Tis a misnomer. Ketamine is not used for horses. It makes them "go a bit funny". Then fall over in a heap. It's mostly used for human babies and old folk cos is the most forgiving anaesthetic known to man. Gentle. But goes deep. They use far higher doses medicinally than would be practical for all but the most heavily addicted... and then you lose a bladder or two. Cut it off at the division of the universe stage and it's win all the way ;)

Meh. I got offered some in a club during my first week of uni, didn't fancy it though and that was the night I first did coke so I guess I found a better alternative :P I've seen some of the Jeremy Kyle stuff as well Evey, funny how ignorant people are about drugs.
